You Broke Our Trust

Once they got downstairs and told James and Winnie that they needed to have a family meeting everyone was in the Barnes' living room. James said "Okay you two you all called this meeting." 

Bucky swallowed hard and said "Um..we did something we shouldn't have in Aspen and now Aspen has come back to bite us in the ass." 

"What did you two do in Aspen?" Melanie said 

"um we um.. we had sex mulitiple times." Bucky said 

"YOU DID WHAT?" all four parents said 

They both cringed and Carter said "I thought you put her on birth control." 

"I did.. I put her on the depo shot.. she got it right before we left for the trip she goes every 3 months I take her to the appointments I know she got it done." Melanie said 

"Then how in the fuck is our 16 year old daughter pregnant." Carter said 

"Dad calm down"Brittany said 

"Don't you tell me to calm down.. how did this happen you two? You broke out trust we trusted you two to share a room." Carter said 

James said "James Buchanan we talked about condoms and how important they are. You have done so good about using them." 

Bucky rolled his eyes and said "It's not like I planned on having sex with Caroline so why would I bring some on vacation. She told me she was on birth control cause she told you all she lost it to Brody so I assumed that it was okay she didn't tell me that she had just gotten it done. It's not like we meant for this to happen it was an accident." 

Carter stood up and said "I love you Caroline Bristol but you I didn't expect this out of you. You had plans to go to nursing school and now .." 

She looked up at him and said "What? I fucked up dad yeah I know I've already been yelled at once today for being a fuck up so thanks ..I cheated on Brody someone that I loved with my best friend who I fell in love with while on the trip and tried to force myself to push the feelings aside cause I thought that was what was best till I turned up late so excuse the hell out of me for making a mistake. Caroline Bristol the perfect daughter right guess Brittany is the perfect one now right. The new favorite." 

Carter was about smack her across the face and Bucky said "Don't you dare lay one hand on her. She's pregnant with my baby and I will not have you hurting my girl that stops now." 

James said "Carter Jacob don't be like your dad .. reign in your temper that's our kids and they are pregnant with our grandbaby. We weren't ready for babies when we were in law school when we had Oliver and Rebecca but we made it work." 

Carter looked down and said "Caroline you live here with them. You need to figure out a new life plan with Bucky." and he walked out. 

Caroline's mouth dropped open and she looked at her mom then down. Melanie said "Baby he's upset just give him some time he didn't mean it." 

Caroline started to cry and ran upstairs to Bucky's room. Bucky helped her get undressed and gave her a t shirt and held her all night and went to sleep.
