Chapter 8: Daughter

Ryuga Shinsokai woke up in his bed like normal. He looked to his left and saw his mother clutching to him as tightly as possible. He stared at her for a couple seconds before kissing her forehead and waking her up. She groggily opened her eyes, and when she did she hugged him even harder.

Venelana: "Ah last night was so fun. Did you have fun too? my s~o~n?"

Ryuga: "I suppose. Thank you for it."

Venelana: "Anytime anytime! We have to go meet my grand-daughter today though don't we?!"

Ryuga: "Yes, you, me, and Kuroka will be seeing my daughter today. You better be on your best behavior..."

Venelana: "I won't cause any trouble I promise!"

Ryuga: "Good, I'll get Kuroka and we can eat breakfast before leaving."

After eating breakfast, the three went to take a train to Kyoto. Ryuga could have teleported, but he felt that it would only be troublesome. Kuroka and Venelana talked a bit on the train, while Ryuga slept. Their conversations were mostly about how Kuroka knows Yasaka, and how Venelana spent her time with Ryuga. Kuroka asked to play with Venelana and Ryuga next time they have fun, but Venelana would only allow it if Ryuga did. After about three hours, the train stopped, and Kuroka bit Ryuga's neck pretty hard to wake him up.

Getting off the train, they headed towards the temple Yasaka stays in. On the way there they saw a lot of youkai guards. The guards were hesitant to let Ryuga through, only to be expected.

Ryuga: "Then could you tell Lady Yasaka that her father and Kuroka have come along with her grandmother Venelana Bael?"

Guard: *shock* "Venelana Bael? You mean the devil?"

Venelana: "That's right sweety, so please tell her?" She directed a terrifying smile at the guard.

Guard: "O-Of course ma'am!" He ran off to find Yasaka.

A couple of minutes later, a woman with beautiful gold hair, gold eyes, and nine fox tails was walking down a path to the entrance of the temple. To her right and holding her hand was her daughter which looked like a very young version of the older lady. When she finally reached the entrance she was met by a couple of guards that pointed to three people. The three people was a woman of brown hair and purple eyes, a male with white hair and purple eyes, and a female with black hair, golden eyes, and two cat tails behind her. When Lady Yasaka saw the man, she immediately let go of her daughter and starting running to him at full speed. When she got a couple of meters away, she jumped onto him and hugged him tightly.

Yasaka: "DADDY!"

Ryuga's mind: "This seems a little familiar..."

Ryuga: "Hello there Young Fox. It has been a while hasn't it?"

Yasaka: "It's been way too long!" She looks to two women next to Ryuga. "Kuroka? And Venelana Bael?!"

Venelana: "To think my grand-daughter would be so aggressive with her father, fu~fu~fu looks like she took after me in that sense."

Yasaka: "Grand-daughter?! WAIT you're my father's mother?"

Venelana: "That's right sweety, now come give your grandma a hug."

They hugged for a while, and Ryuga nudged Kuroka to talk to Yasaka. She hesitantly walked up to the youkai and tapped her shoulder. When Yasaka turned around, Kuroka elegantly bowed.

Kuroka: "I am glad to see you are doing well, Lady Yasaka. I could not thank you enough for helping me when you did."

Yasaka: "Now, now Kuroka raise your head. I only did what any good leader would do. Besides how do you know my father?"
