Chapter 16: Loke

Esdeath and Ryuga were enjoying the peace party held for Odin. Many devils have gathered, including the four devil kings and were currently making a toast to Odin. This was canceled when a magic circle opened, and Loke came out of it, along with Fenrir.

Loke is the god of deceit and mischief, and his pet Fenrir is said to be so strong it can even kill gods. Odin looked disappointed in Loke, and everyone got ready for a fight.

Loke: "Looks like I've come right on time."

Odin: "Why are you here, my son?"

Loke: "Simple. Asgard should not be allied with these weak devils."

Odin: "You would rather we fight them? You're not thinking correctly."

Loke: "I'm thinking perfectly fine father. You're the old man who can't think straight. We should rid these useless beings of their existence!" He spat out with venom.

Fenrir started to run amok, causing a panic, but that was stopped when Ajuka forced Loke and his pet into a seal. The seal would only last for a couple hours, but it was better than nothing.

Ajuka: "That will only last a couple hours at best. We need to send a vanguard to stop him as soon as possible."

Ryuga: "So we're sending the vanguard we talked about?"

Rias and her peerage looked confused.

Diehauser: "Yes. You and your companion will go, along with Rias's peerage."

Odin: "I would also like for this valkyrie to go." He pointed to Rossweisse.

Ryuga: "That's fine, as long as she can listen to orders."

Rossweisse: "I'll be in your care."

Ryuga was about to walk into the seal, but Odin grabbed his arm.

Odin: "Please.. don't kill my son."

Ryuga: "Don't expect too much. I'm not good at holding back."

He walked into the seal, along with the others. The scenery looked like a canyon of sorts, and had a dark sky. Loke was hovering over a cliff  and started smirking.

Loke: "Look's like they've sent some ants to try and stop me."

He summoned Fenrir's sons, which were Hati and Skoll and a Midgardsormr clone.

Rossweisse: "Loke! You don't have to do this. You can talk out your anger peacefully."

Loke: "Nonsense! I want to start the end! I want to start Ragnarok!"

He sent his monsters to attack, and Ryuga gave out orders.

Ryuga: "Esdeath, Rossweisse, you take the Midgardsormr clone. Remember, he's only a clone, but he's still very powerful."

Esdeath: "Understood."

Ryuga: "Rias, Akeno, can you take on Hati?"

Rias: "I-I think."

Ryuga: "The rest of you attack Skoll. If another team needs backup, assist, but try to keep it minimal."

Koneko: "What are you going to do?"

Ryuga: "I'll take Fenrir and Loke."

Issei: "L-Listen man I know you're powerful and all, but there's no way you can take on a god AND a giant wolf that can kill gods at the same time!"

Ryuga's face turned into a dark smile and his eyes glowed violently. He turned to face Issei, scaring him, but causing Esdeath to blush.

Ryuga: "Doubt me?"
