Chapter 17: ORC vs Diodora Astaroth

After the whole fight with Loki, Ryuga's peerage have been relaxing their asses off. Ryuga still goes to school, and everything seemed to be going well. Just when Ryuga was about to sit down and read a book, Rias asked him to attend a meeting with her, Asia, and Akeno. He accepted, knowing that she'll just bother him if he denies. He went into his dimension and used a portal to spit the trio out. They fell on top of each other, causing Ryuga to chuckle. Ryuga summoned a table with some chairs and sat down. The three devils eventually sat down also, after swatting the dust away from their uniforms.

Ryuga: "So? What's this about?"

Rias looked over to Asia before speaking.

Rias: "Do you want to tell him?"

Asia fidgeted with her fingers for a while before looking Ryuga in the eyes. He got a little curious from her gaze.

Asia: "U-Uhm.. I-I was p-proposed to."

Ryuga's curious look immediately went away, and was replaced by a sorrowful face.

Ryuga: "I.. didn't know Issei would be like that."

Asia: "W-What no! Not Issei!"

Ryuga: "Oh? Well congratulations then."

Asia: "What do you mean?"

Ryuga: "Since it's not Issei, I'm sure it's a rather charming man then, right?"

Asia: "Well, he's actually the one I healed to get cast out of the church."

Ryuga: "I see, but why was this important enough to have a meeting with me? Can't you choose the answer yourself? Rather, I think this is something you should choose without anyone else giving you guidance."

Akeno: "I think you're misunderstanding."

Ryuga: "Then explain it better. All I've been told is that she's been proposed to by someone. Doesn't Rias get proposal letters all the time?"

Rias: "This is different."

Ryuga: "How? If she doesn't want to then just reject it, if she does then accept it."

Asia: "Well he did it out of nowhere.. We're afraid he might have an ulterior motive."

Ryuga: "Okay, well that changes things."

Rias: "Yes, and we found out that he is our first opponent in the tournament of young devils."

Ryuga: "How interesting.. What are you going to do about it?"

Rias: "We were hoping you could help?"

Ryuga: "What can I do?"

Akeno: "We think you can train us."

Ryuga: "First, who is this opponent? What's his name?"

Asia: "Diodora Astaroth."

Ryuga closed his eyes for a minute, sucking in all the information that the three knew about Diodora. When he was finished, he licked his lips and opened his eyes again.

Ryuga: "Sure, I can arrange to train you all, along with my peerage."

Rias: "Really!?" She jumped out of her chair.

Ryuga: "Hmm, yes. However, it won't be easy. You're going to be trained every day, with a variety of schedules."

Asia: "U-Um, what does that mean?"

Ryuga: "Meaning, in one day, you will train in multiple different fields. This can be very overwhelming for most, but if you want to win, you have to pull through."
