I truly was happy for Violet, she was getting out and she didn't even have to spend a year in this hell hole. I wasn't jealous because I know I can't change the fact that I was here until I kick the bucket. So far I've been here for 19 years. not that I'm counting. the only person here that will care about me is Paul. He has worked here for 21 years, he does everything in his way to try to get me out! Friends such as Violet come and go. Paul is going to stay here working and staying with me. He has too. Braircliff and my family have a long and violent history. I figure that's why I'm in here. He's the one counting my years. He's the only one that knows why I'm even in here. I truly don't even remember, and I don't want to be reminded.
Me and Violet say goodbye to Paul and go to our room, because we would get in a shitload of trouble if we didn't. We lay in our uncomfortable beds and sleep.
