Molly's P.O.V

Sun streamed through the gap in the curtains and I watched as the light made patterns that danced across Tom's posters. Tom's arms were wrapped around me and his warm body was pressed right up against my back. He was snoring lightly and his warm breaths brushed the baby hairs against the back of my neck. I'd slept over. And it felt nice. I felt better than I had in a long time. I felt rested and my head felt clearer. I didn't actually want to move not only because it felt so comfortable but because I didn't want to wake Tom either.

I could hear Mark and Dani talking and walking around downstairs. Maybe it was the afternoon already. The show was tonight. Nervous butterflies fluttered in my belly. Could I do this? Could we even pull this off?

Tom stirred behind me and he froze suddenly.

He drew his arms away from me gently. I missed his arms. He leant over me gently and my eyes locked with his.

He blushed.

"You're awake."

I smiled. Tom's hair was growing out and his hair was all sticking up from the way he'd slept. His voice was all croaky from sleep. He was adorable. I swept his hair back from his forehead revealing his natural brown roots.

"Nice bed head."

He rolled his eyes and roughly messed up his hair with his hand.

"I know. My hair looks hot all the time."

I laughed and shook my head.

"I love how modest you are."

"Thanks." Said Tom with a smile.

We stared at each other in  silence for a few moments.

"Do you feel ok?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Yeah. Thanks for letting me stay last night." I said quietly.

Tom smiled.

"I'm glad you stayed. So was sleeping over without sneaking out as bad as you thought?"

I hesitated.

"Yeah. You snore."

Tom laughed.

"You thought it was cute. You liked it."

I blushed.

"Fuck off. No I didn't."

"Yes you did. You were awake this morning and you didnt push me away. You didnt seem to mind me holding you. Maybe you even liked it a little?"

I felt my face heat and I dropped my eyes from Tom's shyly.

"You wish. Look Tom all joking aside, last night I needed...a friend. And you were a really good friend. And I just want to clear the air about that kiss last night I -"

Tom cleared his throat awkwardly and shrugged as he sat up.

"You're welcome. Look don't sweat it about the kiss. You were upset and I know it didn't mean anything."

I sighed as I watched him stretch up to the ceiling. I heard his joints pop. But it had meant something. I guess I just didn't know how to tell him. Now that I could at least admit it to myself.

"Are you sure you want to do the show tonight? If you don't feel right we can cancel the show it's-"

I sat up from the bed and shook my head.

"No. I want to play. I'm ready. We're ready." I said giving him a smile.

Tom grinned and looked at his watch.
