Chapter 1

Yssa's POV

I'm currently verifying some printed documents when I heard someone sigh heavily beside me. Sino pa nga ba?

Si Aldred lang naman ang malakas ang loob na mang-istorbo sa akin eh.

"Hoy panget! Tara na mag-lunch. Break time na oh.", sabi nito at itinapat pa sa mukha ko ang relos nya.

"Busy pa 'ko. Mamaya na lang ako o kaya ay umuna ka na.", sagot ko sa alok niya ng hindi man lang sya tinitingnan.

Biglang ipinatong ng panget na lalaking kausap ko ang kamay niya sa paperworks ko. Kita ng tambak na ang gawain ko eh. Asar.

"Aldred naman! Ang dami ko pang gawain eh. Umuna ka na kasi.", naiinis na turan ko sa kaniya.

"Ayaw ko, tara na! Mamaya na 'yan!", ayaw magpatalo na giit ulit nito.

"Ang dami pa kaya nito oh?!", singhal ko sa kaniya.

"Basta. Ako bahala sa'yo. Besides, isusumbong kita kay Harry kapag hindi ka kumain."

When I heard Harry's name, automatic akong napatayo. He is my weakness after all. Simply because he's my boyfriend for three years at mahal na mahal ko sya.

Dahil ayaw nga niyang nagpapalipas ako ng gutom ay itinago ko na muna ang kung ano mang ginagawa ko.

I look at Aldred and smile widely;

"Oh? Kain na tayo!"

He just laugh at my reaction and sudden change of decision.

Aldred's POV

Pumunta na kami ni Yssa sa cafeteria. Well, she's my bestfriend. Parang younger sister ko na nga sya. I met her eight months ago noong pareho pa lang kaming applicant dito sa kumpanya na pinagta-trabahuhan namin ngayon.

Now, we're both employee at this company pero magkaiba nga lang kami ng assigned department. Si Yssa sa credit card department while I belong to loan and withdrawal department.

"Aldred, Ley called me last night.", maya maya ay sabi nito sa akin.

"Ha? Bakit daw?", puno ng pagtatakang tanong ko sa kaniya.

Ley is my girlfriend for one year and probably six months. I definitely love her with all my heart.

That means; Yssa and I were both commited when we met each other and we clearly don't have any intention of betraying our own partners by liking each other. Kaya best friend lang talaga kami.
