Renzo's POV

She did it again. She runaway from me. She left me even though I'm still not ready. She turned her back without explaining why.

Without talking to me directly. She stole the chance that I might understand her situation.

Hindi pa rin talaga sya nagbabago.

At pinatunayan nya lang na hindi na talaga sya ang "Yannieley" na minahal ko.

I stare at the paper bag beside me kung saan nakalagay ang christmas gift ko kay Joy. She will surely like it.

Siya nga ang dahilan kung bakit pumunta pa ako rito di ba?
Siya lang. Wala ng iba.
Wala na nga ba?

Dmn it, Ren! Bakit pati ikaw ay hindi sigurado sa sarili mo?!

My thought ends when my phone vibrates. It's a message from Joy that was sent to me through my facebook account.

It says;
"Your out of coverage area, Enzo. Cannot be reach. Where are you? I thought mabilis ka lang? Feedback ka when you read this. Okay?"

Joy can't be a rebound, she's off-limits!

Inaalagaan ko sya dahil na rin sa dying wish 'yon ng asawa nya na pinakamatalik kong pinsan. Isa pa, Joy is my Bestfriend too!

I know she will NEVER be the other girl who's destined to be with me forever.
She's an exception.

Kasi alam kong kahit anong mangyari mahal nya ang pinsan ko at hindi nya 'to mapapalitan.

I start to type on my keyboard with a smile;
"I'll be home, just wait. Don't get worried. Makakasama 'yan kay baby. Just always relax."

Kung may makakabasa man ng conversation namin, that person might think na asawa ko si Joy plus the fact na "Del Rio" ang surname nya kasi pinsan ko sa father side ang asawa nya.

Pero, will I really go home now? Ngayon pa na lalo lang nagulo ang isip ko matapos kong makita ulit si Ley?

Magiging katulad pa din ba ako no'n, almost two years ago na hinayaan na lang na mangyari ang lahat?
Na hindi man lang ipinag-laban ang pagmamahal ko sa kaniya?

For the second time around, would I just accept my defeat? Gano'n na lang?

Am I not going to seek for an answer about what really happened to us way back then? Should I give up just like what I did from the past?

Is it what they called;
"repeated history"?

Think Renzo, there is a girl you still love na pwede mo nang makausap about your issues few years ago.

On the other side is a girl which is your responsibility who is currently waiting for you.

I'm sitting on the chair beside his bed.
He's sleeping.

Kanina, when someone called me, akala ko kung sino. Iyong Mama lang pala ni Justine, my ex-fiance. I admit, I got surprised.

Who wouldn't? Bigla mo ba namang makita ang mother-in-law mo na sana almost two years ago, di ba? Nakakaloka!
