ELENA WAS TIRED. She always felt as though she had to prove herself to everyone and that she was always in competition, no matter what it was regarding. The only person whom she didn't feel this way with was with Wells Jaha. He was the brother she never had the opportunity to have. They knew everything about one another and had an admirable bond that was unbreakable. The only bouts of dishonesty that the two ever had with each other always seemed to concern Clarke Griffin.
Wells lied to Elena about the reason behind the floating of Clarke's dad and he lied about who reported her dad. Even though it invoked feelings of melancholy in the girl, she could never hold it against him as she too had lied for Clarke and that was why she was sent to the skybox, awaiting her death.
