"Well, you're going to." Bellamy said, sitting next to her — far away enough.

"Who's gonna make me? You?" She looked at him and then at the fire.

"You shouldn't have attacked Murphy, you know that, right?"

"He shouldn't have laid a finger on Wells because he wanted to know who I was so he could be a good dog and please you." Kady shot with anger on her voice. "You're so worried that I punched someone who deserved when you should be worried that Murphy punched someone who did not deserve."

"He wanted to know who you were. He saw you as an enemy and he went to your weakness point." Bellamy sighed. "I'm not saying he did well."

"You better not be, Bellamy. You know why? Because Murphy knew me from the Ark. He didn't hurt Wells to get information. He hurt Wells to get pleasure."

"He what? He said he never heard of you before." Bellamy looked at her confused.

"Maybe you should ask him again." Kady simply replied, trying to put an end to the conversation but Bellamy wasn't going to let this time pass.

"I heard about your dad after you got arrested," Bellamy said after a few moments of silence, which made Kady shiver a little. "and I know you're not going to like what I'm about to say..."

"Then don't say it." Kady sighed but of course, Bellamy went on.

"I wish I had the guts to help you. He could still be alive."

"Look, I get it. You didn't want to risk people knowing about Octavia and if you got arrested, they would know... But I also get that I rather you and Octavia getting arrested because of me than what happened to my dad." Kady said, took a deep breath and after a while, she stood up.

"I'll talk with Murphy." Bellamy said, standing up too.

"I don't need a bodyguard, Bellamy. If he tries to touch Wells again, I'm pretty sure Wells will defend himself." She looked at Bellamy. "Or I'll hit Murphy. Nothing is off the table at this point." She said, smiling a little.

"Indeed." He smiled a little too and then looked around. "Have you seen Octavia?"

"She went to get water."

"Jasper went to get water two hours ago." Bellamy raised an eyebrow.

"You know us. Girls. More water equals to a prettier face." She bounced her head, trying to pray that Octavia would show up quick.

"Then it's clear that you're putting a lot of water on your face. Or drinking it." Bellamy chuckled a little and Kady didn't say anything but she smiled slightly.

"I need to check on Wells." She said, trying to avoid the fact that he was definitely flirting with her. 

She gave him a little smile and walked away to meet Wells next to their tent. They shared a tent because it was easier and there was no one else on the whole world that she trusted her life other than him. They met during a class, then they started to sneak out to meet each other and finally, they met again when he got arrested. 

"You're smiling," Wells said, raising an eyebrow. "who did you burn?" He laughed softly and Kady punched his shoulder slightly.

"No one. Just said a little extra information to Bellamy about Murphy..."

"Oh, you burned him! I've never been so proud." Wells chuckled. "Wait. You and Bellamy were talking without you screaming at him? That's news."

"He's probably on that drink that Monty gives us to chill a little." Kady laughed. "How's Clarke?"

"Still mad about the Jake thing." Wells sighed.

"Wouldn't it be easier to just burn her mom by telling Clarke the truth?" Kady sighed too which made Wells raise an eyebrow.

"Says the girl who's lying to protect Octavia Blake."

"I'm not lying. I'm... helping her out."

"By lying." Wells chuckled.

"Says the boy who's in love with Clarke and is lying to her to not hurt her feelings." 

"It's— It's not only to protect her feelings."

"So, you admit you're in love with her?" Kady smiled, teasingly.

"You're the worst friend ever."

"I've heard worst." She laughed softly and sat on the ground, next to him.
