The time was passing and there was no sight of Bellamy getting back to the bunker, which deep down was killing both Octavia and Kady.

"What you mean we can't go back?" Bellamy looked at Raven as he got closer to her.

"There's no time." She said sadly.

"Octavia and Kady are in there! I have to go back!" Bellamy almost shouted.

"If you go now you'll die before they can open the door, Bellamy." Raven looked at his eyes and then at the rest of the group. "There's a radio upstairs. Don't take too long."

As Bellamy was the one chosen to be first, he hurried himself up. When he contacted the bunker, Abby was with the radio so he had to lose time by waiting for Octavia and Kady to show up.

Bellamy talked with Octavia first — obviously because he was her brother — and as Octavia said her goodbye and they talked about them, Bellamy almost started to cry.

Not crying with Octavia only lead him to cry with Kady, who was doing her best not to cry.

"How come we're always apart?" He asked, cleaning the tears from his face.

"Maybe the universe is trying to tells us something." Kady said after a long break.

"Screw the universe." Bellamy grumbled. "5 years."

"5 years." She whispered as the tears started to fall from her face. "Bell... A lot can happen in 5 years, you know that, right?"

"I know what you're doing, Kady. Don't do this." Bellamy said sadly.

"You can't be attached to me and not move in." She said as a little sob came out of her mouth.

"I'll wait for you, Kady!"

"I know you want to and god, I really want to but it won't be healthy."

"I'll never forget you, Kady Foster. Nothing will ever change what I feel for you."

"I know, Bell. I know." She mumbled as her voice started to fail.

"I love you." He said softly but it was too late. Silence. "Kady? Kady!"

The radio went off. When Bellamy stood up to tell the others that there was no radio, Clarke was coming into the room.

When Kady walked out of the office where she was, they were already taking the bodies, also known as acceptable losses, outside where they would die with Praimfaya.

"How many people?" Kady said with tears on her eyes when she found Jaha.

"Kady—"

"How many people are going to die, Jaha?"

"We had to sacrifice 364 of our kind."

"We sent almost 400 people to Praimfaya?" She said lower, feeling nauseous. "We could have found a way!"

"It was overloaded, Kady."

"Whatever makes you sleep at night, Chancellor." She said brutally and walked over Octavia and Indra.

"Good, you're here." Indra looked at Kady. "Are you two ready?"

"Ready for what?" Kady asked confused.

"To rule." Octavia looked at her sadly and Kady nodded slowly.

"We're all going to hell anyway so let's do this." Kady took a deep breath and followed Indra, along with Octavia.

After Indra and Gaia made a huge speech about leadership and about the fact that the time of the commanders was over, Octavia and Kady were finally accepted as leaders. Not everyone was happy with that decision but everyone sure would have to deal with it unless they wanted to die.

When the whole thing was over, Kady walked over where it would be the medical place and she waited for Abby to come.

"Do you want me to call you Heda?" Abby said as she organized everything.

"No. I just want your medical advice." Kady said, looking away.

"How can I help you?" Abby asked and they had a deep and long conversation about everything.

"What can you do for me?" Kady smiled as she cleaned her tears.

"I could try to get you a new life." Abby joked to see a real smile and she saw one on Kady's lips. "Here." She handed Kady a little bottle of pills. "Take one everyday, two if you're feeling too overwhelmed."

"What is this?" Kady whispered.

"Pills. That's all you need to know." Abby smiled a little and Kady stood up, hid the pills and walked out.
