"Everyone gather up." Bellamy called everyone, hours later since the last time Kady and he talked.

"We thought of Kady's idea and we decided it's better than attack grounders by force. I organized teams and we will take shifts on knowing the forest a little more. The ground is their territory. They know it better than us, but if we can learn some things about it, we will." Clarke said, loud and clear. "The teams are..." She started and then divided everyone.

"The first team to patrol is Clarke's so, gather up everything you could use on the forest. You're leaving in 20." Bellamy announced and Clarke's team accepted the order.

Kady had been put in the team of Bellamy, along with Monroe, Murphy, and Octavia. Wells sadly wasn't with her but he was with Clarke, which to Kady, was also good.

"Be safe, okay?" Wells said low to Kady who nodded.

"I'm not the team going on the first." She chuckled a little but then understood what he meant. Murphy. "I promise I won't hit him. Again."

"I can ask Clarke to be on Bellamy's team, that's okay." Wells said, protective of his little sister like he used to call her when they were alone.

"And lose the chance of being with your crush? No!" Kady smiled largely and gave him a quick hug. "Go get your things and be careful. Don't try to be anyone's heroe and die, okay?" She smiled and he nodded.

"Kady." Clarke called, walking over her. Oh, shot.

"I didn't do anything I swear." Kady replied, nervous.

"It's not about that." She laughed softly which relaxed Kady. "I just wanted to thank you for standing up and prevent us from getting killed." Clarke smiled a little, which made Kady smile too.

"I'm not sure a leader is supposed to tell their people that it's okay to scream about how wrong they are." Kady chuckled.

"Then it's a good thing I don't consider myself anyone's leader." Clarke smiled gently.

"But you are," Kady said being supportive. "Are you going like in the way of the river?"

"No, we will go the other way. Are you thinking of relaxing a little before your team is up?"

"Something like that." Kady admitted and smiled a little. "Good luck, Clarke."

"Thank you." Clarke smiled. "And hey, Wells... He'll be safe with me."

"I know." Kady nodded and she walked over her tent to put some little fruits on a bag and a knife in case it was needed.

"Going somewhere?" Bellamy asked the second she walked out of her tent.

"Who's asking?"

"Funny." He said ironically which made her smile. "Do I need to send someone with you?"

"Do you want to get hit or something close to that?" She asked, bouncing her head.

"Yeah, that's what I thought. Be careful and don't be gone for too long. We're right after Clarke gets back."

"Will do." She nodded and put her bag on her shoulder, leaving Bellamy there.

"Murphy." Bellamy called when Kady couldn't hear him. "Follow Kady. Make sure she doesn't see you but that she's safe."

"Why are you asking me?" Murphy groaned slightly.

"Because even though you can't stand each other anymore, I know you'll keep her safe. You own her that much."

"Fine." Murphy said and grabbed his knife, ready to follow Kady.

When Kady got to the river, she looked around and so no one. Of course, Murphy was there because of Bellamy's orders but he was quite good at hiding.

She took off her t-shirt and put her hair into a sort of bun, which obviously got messed up after she jumped into the water. She didn't care about what risks she could face, she just needed to relax a little and that's what she did.

Until someone grabbed her hair, pulled her back and hit with her head on a rock, which led to her almost losing her sights.

She got back to reality when the same person that hurt her, was now trying to drown her up.

Murphy, seeing the whole situation, started to scream some non-understanding words in order to scare the grounder. He ran over there and the grounder, that was actually a woman, ran away before the knife that Murphy threw at her, could reach her.

"Kady!" He called, pulling her body back away from the water. "Come on." He said when she didn't move.

He tried to blow into her mouth and after a while, she opened her eyes as she started to cough water.

"Oh, dear lord." Murphy said, relieved.

"What a hell happened?" She asked low, moving her hands to her head, where she found blood.

"We need to get back at camp. Come on." He said, helping her stand up. "You're freezing." He said and grabbed her t-shirt, putting it back at her body. "Are you okay?" He said, watching her wound. "Here." He said, grabbing a piece of cloth and putting on her head. "Come on." He repeated, helping her get the hell away from there. "Bellamy!" Murphy screamed when they got back at camp.

When the group saw Murphy and Kady feeling vulnerable as hell, none of them had a certain reaction, except Bellamy who ran right there immediately and Octavia, who followed her brother.

"What happened?" Bellamy asked, taking his jacket off and putting around Kady's shoulders.

"Are you okay?" Octavia asked sadly, trying to check the wound on Kady's head.

"I'm good."

"A grounder just tried to kill her." Murphy said, looking at Bellamy. "We need to move faster."

"Great, now everyone thinks they can give me orders." Bellamy said rudely to Murphy who stood quiet. "Go finish what you were doing." Bellamy looked at Murphy, knowing that Kady wouldn't want Murphy around for much longer.

"Murphy," Kady called when he was leaving. He turned around, facing her, and then she said it. "Thanks." She said softly and he nodded to her.

"Octavia go get some clean clothes to her, will you?" Bellamy asked Octavia who nodded, running to her own tent.

"You called a bodyguard on me." Kady looked at Bellamy, leaning against a tree and finally, putting on his jacket.

"He saved you, didn't he?" Bellamy looked at the girl, who nodded slowly.

"It's the only reason I'm not screaming at you, right you."

"I thought it was because you think I'm nice." He joked and she smiled a little. "Hey. When Clarke's team get back, we'll think of something."

"I think Murphy saw who it was, I'm not sure though."

"I'll talk with him." Bellamy nodded slowly and walked over Murphy, asking what needed to be asked.

Kady was helped by Octavia on getting changed — on the tent, of course — because she was a little dizzy but even though Octavia didn't say anything, Kady knew what she was thinking.

"I know it wasn't your friend." Kady said softly as she put Bellamy's jacket back on herself.

"Thank you." Octavia smiled a little and Kady smiled back, leaning against Octavia's shoulder.
