(Written for his birthday May 2018.

His first poem).

When I look at you, I feel blessed,

That my future holds only the best.

Yes, that's you, now hear me out,

This poem is made for you, don't pout.

When I look at you, I see myself.

More than I have books on my bookshelf.

You make me so happy I can't breathe.

My heart is about to seethe.

When I look at you, I see a rainbow.

With no more dark clouds to sow,

You make me the happiest human ever.

It's like the best type of life, this endeavor.

When I look at you, I see the ocean.

Your eyes make it seem like a devotion,

Of some text I wish I could hold onto.

The letters would be far less few.

When I look at you, I see my world.

Where everything is unfurled,

And no one hates each other,

Instead, we all give kisses to smother.

When I look at you, I feel complete.

With no more worries or need to be discreet,

Because you notice me and love me.

Calling me beautiful, gosh can you see?

When I look at you, I feel beautiful.

With a happy heart, that is so full.

You make me never want to go back,

To a life about my favorite crack.

When I look at you, I don't need drugs,

Because you are my ladybug,

And all I want is you forever.

Is that too much to ask for? Never.

When I look at you, I see my ultimate goals,

With a loving family that won't ever fold,

And a happy husband such as you,

Because I know, I'll never bid adieu.
