You sat in Lancers room, listening to him ramble on about the sleepover you two were having tonight. Surprisingly, you were one of the only humans that the king could stand, basically because you lived in the dark world now. As Lancer rambled, he noticed that you werent really paying attention. "Hey (Y/N)! Whatcha thinking about?" He asked. "Oh...just how my family is back home. I miss them." You said in a sad tone. He just smiled, hugging you. "Don't worry! You don't need them! You have me! And dad...i guess." He said cheerfully. You just chuckled and nodded.

Lancer let go of you, continuing to ramble. You did like Lancer more than a friend, but you'd never tell him. He's too innocent. You smiled and laughed at his excitement. You pat him on the head. "I'm gonna go walk around, Lance. Wanna come?" You asked. He nodded, jumping off the bed the two of you were sat on. You stood up too, smiling at him and walking away with him following.

As the two of you walked, you would occasionally loom at Lancer, who would already be looking at you. You thought that was a bit weird but you didn't say anything. You held his hand, and he smiled at you. You two eventually stopped in front of a tree, deciding to sit down. The two of you talked quietly.

To be honest, you didn't know if Lancer considered you his girlfriend. It was easy to tell he liked you, even if it was just a little. You sighed. "Lancer? Do you like me?" You asked. He smiled and nodded. "Sure! I like all my friends!" He said cheerfully. "No, i mean, like-like." You said. "Oh." He said, thinking. "Yeah...sort of." He said quietly. You smiled.

"I like you too, Lance." You said, still smiling. He seemed surprised. "Really?" He asked, getting excited. You nodded. He quickly pulled you into a hug, and you hugged back. You stayed like that for a while until you pulled away, standing up.

You held out your hand for him to hold, and you pulled him up, still holding his hand, and walked away. He followed, smiling. "I'll get you some dark candy. Just don't tell your dad."
