Alexander Knight, the son of billionaire Gavin Knight, my father's best friend. Alexander stood before me in all his glory, his black hair cut neatly, his beautiful set of sea blue eyes which matches his expensive blue navy suit. He looks gorgeous, hot if I might add.

We continued to have our little staring match, his blue eyes search mine. It felt as if he could see right through it, look all the way to the depths of my soul. His expression was guarded, he was so hard to read and for a person who reads people well that says a lot.

His father cleared his throat, I immediately snap out of the trance this blue-eyed devil seem to put me in.

"Why don't you kids get to know each other," he said while walking away with his wife, my parents following them shortly after.

I turn around to see Alexander still looking at me, weird. I was about to say hi when his phone rang, he put up his index finger indicating I should stop talking , rude.

"Yes....at a party....you don't need to be everywhere I'm at.......whatever chole ...what," he said between sighs, the person on the other line was getting him really worked up. As if he just notice that I was here, he walked off. What a jerk, first he stares at me as if I have just grown two heads. Then he tries to boss me around, then he walks away and leaves me alone in the middle of my own birthday party. The nerves of this guy, I need a drink.

After a couple of shot, I decided that it was time to stop. I walk on wobbly legs towards the kitchen to get some water to sober myself up, I couldn't let my parents see me like this, I would be in so much mess. Before I could reach the entrance of the kitchen, daisy tells me that my father wants to see me right away and that I should him at the library. Couldn't God let me get away with just this one bad deed, promise i'll be good after .

I was in the library with my parent, Alexander and his parents, what was going on here. I wonder why their here ? Taking a seat beside Alexander which was the only available seat . Then father began to talk

"Gavin and I have been friends for many, many years now. We even started our businesses in the same studio apartment we rented together " Dad continued " we went through thick and thin together and now it is our wish that our family unites as one."

"What are you talking about dad," I asked

"That you and Alexander gets married"

"WHAT" Alexander and I said together.
