26- Drunken Alex is a honest Alex

Alexander POV

After getting rid of that piece of shit, who dear to try and touch my fiance. I turned to her when I saw the look in her eyes, I immediately went mush.

" are you okay," I said reaching for her

"Stay away from me " she screamed, she looked so broken, tears falling from her eyes

"Hope," I said my voice quieter than before

"No, stay away," she said before the night sky took her away

She ran fast as it her life depended on it, she looked broken and that is what I wanted, then why wasn't I satisfied. 'She deserved it for what she did, she kissed him. She wasn't completely over him, if you and she got married, she would have done the same thing. She's just like chole, every woman was just like chole. Lying, deceitful, cheating bitches' I tried to convince myself.

But then I heard another voice in my head. 'You could have just heard her out, ask her about it or wait on till she came to tell you. Hope is a special girl and you know that very well. You hurt her and I know your hurting too but did what you did make you feel any better ' 

No, it didn't, I  didn't feel better, I felt worse and the pain in my heart just grew. I made my way back into the club, at this moment I didn't want to be sober. I needed to numb this feeling, this guilty, this pain.

I went to the bar and order five shots of vodka. I drank and drank and drank, but still, I couldn't escape it. I hung over me like a dark cloud on a rainy day. The guilt was too much ,it was crushing me. I drown myself in liqer, shot after shot until someone clearly not in their right mind took my drink from my hand and drank it himself.

"You bloody......."

"What is this, is it when you get drunk, you turn English. My friend I'm so disappointed in you, look at you  . One of American most riches men, is in a club drinking away his sworrows. You could have a least did that at home, be a little more discreet "my best friend chase said. I groaned, out of everyone who could have come here it was Chase.

" I most say, I have never seen you like this. You weren't this bad after chole " he said but stopped when I gave him a glare, chole was the last person I wanted to think about today or even forever.

"Why are you here, don't you have stacy to go home to " I asked, stacy was chase's wife. They got married last year and is expecting their first child, a boy. Stacy is seven months pregnant.

"She let me go tonight, I haven't seen you in months and then I get a call from chole that you guys are back together and at this club. She is my distant cousin but damn  she can be a bitch " he said talking a shot and the continued " Are you guys back together? Aren't you suppose to marry that Hope girl "

"Me and your crazy cousin isn't back together, I just....." and told him everything about my crappy night.

"Wow! Man I got to hand it to you, you are a screitfied jerk " he said laughing

"I'm sorry for what I did, okay " I said

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to, its her " he said " How do you feel about her "

I don't know if it was me or the acohol but I started to share my feelings. " Hope makes me happy, she's fun, feisty, kind and loving. When im with her, i feel as if I'm the luckiest guy in the world. I've never felt this way before and it scares me, scares me that she could do what chole did and break my heart, "

Chase looked taken back

"Well i didn't expect that, do you love her "
