Alexander POV

I sat at my desk drowning in paperwork. I had to get another blueprint of the hotel to the investors by tomorrow. It's been two years seen we started the project and it's safe to say that in a year we can have the grand opening of the KC beach Resort. Hope has been working on the interior design of each room and can I say it is hard because she wants each room to be different, each standout among the others.

Married life has been great, after our honeymoon we had an event to merge the two company. My brother dave got married a year after we did to Amber. Amber was now three months pregnant and mom and dad were elated to get their first grandchild.

I glanced at my watch and saw that it was seven: forty-five. Hope was going to kill me, today was our two year anniversary. We were going to have a romantic dinner tonight. How did five o' clock turn into seven forty-five so quickly? Yes, hope is going to kill me.

I quickly got my things together and head out of the office. I passed my P.A Amanda and remember I didn't have a present for hope. I looked back and saw Amanda looking at me, she reached for something on her desk. She handed me a small box, it contained a beautiful diamond neckless.

"When I saw that you weren't going to leave your office, I bought it with the company card you gave me for hope before the store closed," she said, Amanda was the only P.A that hope liked, that and she was engaged.

"Thanks so much, Amanda, what would do without you "

"Hope would probably kill you by now," she said gathering her things to leave as well

"Definitely, say hi to Nate for me "

"Yes sir "

I arrived home thirty minutes later, I rush through the house and couldn't find hope. Shit, where is she? I took out my phone and tried her cell.

"Alex where are you, I've been waiting an hour for your sorry ass. What the hell are you doing, did you forget our freaking anniversary, you asshole" she screamed into the phone

" I'm home, where are you "

"I'm on the roof honey, get up here fast," she said softly, what was up with this woman. One minute she's mad at me and the next I'm honey.

I made my way to the roof, not wanting to waste another second. As I stepped out on the roof, I was engulfed in a big hug

"I've missed you so much," she said, I looked behind her to take in the beautiful seen, she really outdid her self this year.

"I've only been gone for a couple of hours "

"In my defense, it felt like a lifetime " she continued "let's start dinner " she dragged me to the table at the center of the roof.

We ate and talked about our day. Hope said that she was halfway through the decoration and will be finished in the next few months.

"I have to get everything done because after these nine months I don't think I'll have time "

"Why," I asked confused, she looked at me with wide eyes and mumbled 'shit' under her breath

"What's the problem hope?" I asked, I was so confused, first she didn't drink the champagne and now this crazy talking. Is she leaving me ??

"Hope is you...." he trailed off not wanting to say

"Yes I am," she said tears coming to her eyes, how could she do this to me, after all, we been through. She made me fall deeply in love with her.

"How could you do this to me " I shouted after her, she looked taken back. What a fake he thought

"What!! You don't want this " she asked quietly

"Of course I don't, I'm such a fool," I said, tears slip down her cheeks and I fought the urge to comfort her

"Why would I want you to leave me," I said

"What," she said then laughed, how can she be so cruel?

"I'm not leaving you Alex, I'm pregnant " as those words left her mouth, I felt relief and happy

I ran to her and hugged her

"Oh, you scared the hell out of me "

"Same here. Alex, I would never leave you, I promise "

(Nine months later )

I heard the baby cry, I looked down at the remarkable woman lying on the hospital bed exhausted. I smiled at her and she managed a small one back, I kissed her temple and wondered that I don't deserve her.

"It's a boy," the doctor said, hope and I want to wait till birth to know the gender.

I cut the cord with shaking hands, I was so happy.  The doctor gave the nurse our body to clean him up. After a couple of minutes, she came back again and gave me. I was frozen in awe looking at him, he had a good amount of dark brown hair on his head, my hair. I felt so proud, I made him, we made him.

"Are you going to stand there or make me see my boy, to think I'm the one who did all the work? " hope said from the bed, I laughed then carry our son to her. When she saw him, she gasped.

"He's so beautiful," she said

"What are we going to name him, " I asked

"Marcus " she continued " Marcus Knight "

Now I was complete, who would have thought that it would be because of an Arrange Marriage.
