Once I noticed the colors of the figure disappear,I started to worry that they were gonna eventually get to us,and maybe even hurt us.

But an hour went by before Jeff had to slow down and collect himself,we were low on gas and from what it looked like whoever was chasing us had disappeared.

He stopped in a parking lot,I was expecting more cars but there were none,he parked the car and sighed deeply.

"I'll be back in a few minutes,I need a pee break."  He said,opening the car door and getting out.

I felt sick again,not wanting to puke in his car and him getting mad,I stepped out and walked off of the pavement and over by a tree in the grass,leaning myself against it while I held my hair back,waiting for it to happen.

But instead,a pair of yellow colored strings latched onto my wrists,I yelped while pulling them down,but more wrapped around my ankles.

Soon enough my body was covered in the glowing yet burning strings that dug deeply into my skin,my body was lifted off the ground and I was held upside down.

Seeing the familiar colors again,but in front of me,a pair of golden eyes met mine.
He chuckled and placed his gloved hand against my face,I snapped my head towards his hand and bit down on two of his fingers.

With his other hand he punched me in the face,his yelping was faded as my vision was nothing but blurry colors,feeling liquid drip down my face,it almost landed in my eye.I coughed and tried to focus my attention on this mans figure.

His hands tightly gripped my hair and pulled my face towards his,his growled before speaking with a soft voice.

"Look at you,mean and all,Jack really toughed you up." He said,his voice wasn't exactly deep nor was it high.

My vision started to come back to normal.

"If you don't know who I am,well then let me tell you." He stated.

My vision was completely normal,I saw his black hair and grey beanie resting on his head,his grey hoodie was neatly placed under his black trenchcoat.

He had no eyes,only a bright yellow color filled his eye sockets.His mouth was the same,it was odd.

But his skin was grey like Jack's.

"I'm Puppeteer,but just call me pu-" he was interrupted by Jeff,throwing his fists against his face,all the strings faded as my body fall back into the ground,I landed with a grunt.

"Uhg,damn.." I said,wiping away the blood from my face.

"Y/n are you alright?" Jeff asked,helping me up.

I nodded and looked over to the man,he got up but his feet were lifted from the ground,he seemed to float above the ground.

I guess he was the man chasing us..

"Dude what the hell,I thought you were gonna kill us!" Jeff spat at the man,the man scoffed and scratched his neck.

"I wanted to meet her,you know everyone is talking about her,I was curious." He said,shrugging.

"Well curious my ass,you punched me!" I yelled,walking over to him.

He floated over to me,clenching his hands into fists while chuckling.

"You're a scary little thing,aren't yah." He said teasingly,his shadow loomed over me,it seemed threatening.

But I kept my ground and met his golden sockets,his smile was stuck on his face.

"You don't know what I'm capable of." I muttered,furrowing my eyebrows.

"Okay calm down Y/n,we don't need you getting into any fights!" Jeff grabbed my shoulder,I scoffed and shook my head as I turned around.

"Wow,so obedient to men..Jack really taught you right. " he said chuckling,I went to punch him but was stopped by more of his yellow strings.

"Hahaha,look at you!" He laughed.

"No wonder Jack likes you!" He said once more.

"Pup Back off." Jeff warned,his strings let me go and I stepped back into Jeff.

"Oh yeah,my name is Puppetear but call me Pup." He held out his hand,and gave me a wink.

I smacked his hand away.

"I'm not calling you anything but deadhead!" I growled,his smile faded.

"Listen here you little-" he was once again interrupted by Jeff.

"Enough both of you,we need to get going now,y/n lets go!" Jeff tugged at my arm,and I followed him.

"You're just gonna leave me here Jeffery?" Pup taunted.

Jeff didn't hesitate getting into the car,nor did I.

"Yup,tell BP I said hi if you see him." Jeff shut his door,and started the car.

Pup seemed right next to the car in only a few seconds,Jeff didn't lock the car fast enough,Pup ended up inside the car in the back seats.

"Come dude,I'm trying to get somewhere,I'm not a taxi!" Jeff groaned.

Pup didn't seem to care,he leaned between Jeff's seat and mine.

"I know where you're going,and you're gonna pass by the place I need to go,so I won't be any trouble." He said.

I pushed his hand off of my seat,he made me feel uncomfortable.

Another hour passed and everyone was silent,nothing but the sounds of rocks getting crushed underneath the cars tires.
I was frustrated that Jeff had let this stupid man inside the car,and frustrated that I couldn't punch him.

Him on the other hand seemed calm,which made me even more angry,Jeff was tense,I could tell.

Maybe he didn't trust Pup..I mean,I don't blame him.

"Toby has been acting strange ever since he came back from Jack's last time he was there." Pup stated.

Oh yeah,Toby..I remember him.

"Well,we're going to his house anyway." Jeff said,wait..that's where we're going?

"Why are we going to Toby's place?" I asked,Jeff coughed before replying.

"He knows the most about Jack's location,I am only here to transport and protect you."
His eyes were drawn to the steering wheel,he looked tired.

"Jeff you looked tired,come on park and take a short nap." I said,forgetting about Pup in the back.

"Yeah sleep,I don't wanna end up crashing because you feel asleep behind the wheel." Pup added.

I sighed and butted in.

"No one was asking you,deadhead." I spat.

"God I feel like a mom,both of you shut up!" Jeff yelled.

I pursed my lips and crossed my arms,I brought my knees to my chest and looked out the window.

"But I have so many questions about the little fireball here." Pup said.

Jeff stopped the car immediately,sending Pup forwards making him hit his face off of the radio,causing music to play through the speakers.

"Arg,goddamnit Jeffrey!" He yelled.
