My hands were shaking,I couldn't breathe,I didn't know what I was doing right now.I held my breath..
But Jack's words were echoing through my head,and that's all I could focus on right now.

"Promise me you'll come back?.." I asked.

"Promise you'll stay?" He asked.

Loud and violent banging was heard behind the front door.

"Promise.."

I gasped a bit,trying to get as much air as possible after not being able to breathe for almost a minute..My eyes started to water,I tried to stop it but I couldn't hold it any more.
I was hugging him tightly,I buried my face into his hoodie.

I felt kinda embarrassed that he had leaned in,so I eventually got too nervous and ended up hugging him very tightly,but once he saw that one tear going down his face,he sighed deeply.

"Hey look,I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable,I just-"
He stopped.

He rubbed my back,sweat started to crawl down his face.

"I just couldn't help myself,sorry.."

My face felt like a heater,I couldn't find my words so I stuttered over myself.

"I,I uh-uhm I uh.."I tried saying,Jeff chucked a bit.

"Do I make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe at all?.." he asked.

I shook my head.

"Good,well,how well do you trust me?" He asked again.

"On a scale of 1 to 10,about a 8 and a half." I muttered,he just hummed in response.

I felt his hand move my hair out of the way of my forehead,and he kissed it.

I started to shutter and I pushed my hand gently against his face,pushing it away a little.
I chuckled nervously and started to walk away,Jeff quickly tried to catch up,making sure not to lose me again.

His fingers attempted to grab or at least graze mine,I pulled my hands away and started to run a bit.

"Hey y/n I know we're having fun and all but please don't start running too fast,I really don't want you to get hurt or lost." He said,I should listen..It would be bad if one of us lost a leg or something to one of those traps.

"Okay,but I can't promise anything." I teased,I could tell he nervously chuckled right afterwards.

"Y/n~" Jeff sang,I turned to see him but he was gone,I guess it's my turn to find him.

I smiled a bit.
"Come on Jeff,I'll find you!" I said,I darted my eyes all around to see any movement in the grass.

I saw a slight movement behind me,so I quickly turned went to grab whatever was behind me.

"Hah,gotcha!" I said,but I didn't grab the right person.

"Aye sorry Toby,I thought you were Jeff.." I mumbled,he just looked at me and said.

"If you want me to help you find your boyfriend,you could've asked."

"He's not my boyfriend.." I said back,crossing my arms.

"Pffft yeah sure,not after I saw you two cuddling each other." He stated,he started to walk somewhere,so I followed him.

"You know,Jeff's a pretty good guy,he's just gets kinda needy sometimes."
I noticed Toby's hatchets in his belt around his waist,I hadn't seen his weapons before.

"Well then maybe you should date him." I muttered,Toby started laughing out loud.

I felt a pair of hands wrap around my stomach,I already knew who it was anyway.

"Heyo,did you give up?" He asked,letting his head rest on my shoulder.

"Well no,I was just talking to Toby.He told me you are a nice guy and you can get needy." I said.

"So,you two are gonna spend two nights here?" Toby asked,I raised an eyebrow.

"We are?" I asked.

Jeff nodded his head.

"Toby's gonna be gone for two days,so we are gonna look after his house until he gets back and besides you need rest,I'm a hundred percent sure that car isn't uncomfortable for you at all."

Jeff let go and started to walk beside me.

"Is that okay?" He asked,why is he asking for my opinion? What if I say no?

"Yeah,that's okay.Thank you Toby for letting us stay here,your house is very beautiful."
I smiled,I've always wanted a cabin like Toby's,it wasnt too big nor was it too small.

It was perfect.

Everything was neat,and his house surprisingly smelled really good.

"It's no problem,I appreciate you two coming all this way." He said back,he lifted up his goggles.I saw multiple scars lace his face

His eyes were dreary,but colorful,he smiled and showed me a thumbs up.

"I know I have the worst memory so if I come back and get startled that you two are in my house,don't worry." He said,pulling his goggles back down.We stepped out of the grass,we were already here?
"Wow,that was kinda fast.You know this field so well,how many times have you gone through it?" I asked,he searched through his pockets while he talked.

"Well,when I first came here I took interests in them and just wondered through it until I got the hang of it." He said,handing out his housekeys to Jeff,he grabbed the keys and examined them.

"What's with all the other keys?" Jeff asked,picking at every other key on the chain.

"It's nothing,anyway,I just need to grab some stuff and I'll be on my way." Toby opened the door to the house and walked in,I gave Jeff a look.

He was too busy counting all the keys on the chain,of course,the only one we needed was the only dark grey key there was.

I walked in after Toby,I once again glanced at the room.The furniture weirdly matched the color of the wood,I wonder how he got all this..

I ran my fingers across the top of the soft couch,and I sat down,I patted my hands on the couch and wiggled a bit.

"Hahaha what're you doing?" Jeff asked,placing down the keys into the glass table in front of the couch and sitting down next to me.

"Jeff I need to talk to you before I leave." Toby motioned Jeff to follow him into another room,I smiled at Jeff as he got up and walked over to Toby.

I glanced down and focused on the floor, I hit my shoes together and began to hum the tune of the song Jack liked out loud.
It was such a goofy tune so it was hard to not forget it,I tapped my shoes while humming the tune.

I was interrupted.

"Goodbye,uh.." Toby said,scratching the back of his neck.

"Y/n...It's Y/n." I said,sighing and standing up.

"Yeah,Y/n." Toby held out his hand,I shook it and gave him a small smile.

And with that he left.

I turned around and Jeff stood leaning against the doorway to the kitchen,he looked kinda reddish and jitterish.

"Are you okay,you look sick!" I asked.
