"Jeff!" I yelled,I ran towards the spot he had been pushed to the ground.

I saw his knife on the ground,I shakingly but quickly picked it up and looked all around.

I can't see Jeff anywhere.

"Jeff!" I called out,hoping he'd answer.

But to my demise,he did not.My chest ached with anticipation as I walked unknowingly through the path we walked,my eye thoroughly checking all around me to make sure I wasn't being followed.

My wrist was pulled and my mouth was covered by a soft hand,their body collided with mine as they pushed me behind a tree.Once I noticed their emerald green eyes my breath hitched.

"Shhhh,don't worry,Jeff will be fine." Liu whispered,I guided his hand away from my mouth as I nodded and furrowed my eyebrows,me being me couldn't help but worry for him.

"He told me to run if something ever happen to him,but I couldn't." I muttered,Liu sighs and pats my back while we walked.

I felt that strange aura surround me again,it made me feel nervous but yet attracted to it.It also felt familiar,but I couldn't remember who it was from.

Swallowing my heart and sucking it up,I proceeded without care.

I heard a faint scream lash out,my body jerked backwards and I immediately started running towards the sound.

"Jeff!" I called out.

"Y/n no,shhhh you have to be quiet." Liu whispered loudly.

"Jeff answer me!" I screamed once more.

The back of my legs started to burn as I pushed my limits with running this far,I didn't even look back to see if Liu was following.
Suddenly I froze in place as I saw golden strings fall from the trees above,I reached out my hand and let one fall in my palm.

I rubbed it,it turned into ashes in seconds.

I looked down,and realized that these strings were everywhere,not only tangled in the trees but all over the ground.

"P-pup?.." I asked myself,sliding the ashes off my hand.

"Yes?" I suddenly heard that low annoying voice,I turned to see him upside down just hanging from a tree branch.

I hummed in response,a little relieved yet anxious.

"Have you seen Jeff?" I quickly asked.

He let out a low chuckled and leaped down from the branch,he intertwined his fingers and stretched them over his head,cracks were heard before he sighed with pleasure.

"Well sense that little guy decided to leave me behind with that monster called Rake,thought I'd try and get him back for it." He stated,taking a step closer to me.

"Where is he?" I asked sternly,he laughed out loud.

"Wow,you should hear yourself.Are you trying to boss me around?" He pointed to himself.

I gulped down all my fears and nodded my head confidently,I clenched my fists and mumbled through my teeth.

"Where is Jeff."

Pup lifted his finger and strings wrapped around my legs,and was traveling up my body,stopping at my shoulders.

But my arms were free.

Pup moved closer to me,taking off his gloves in the process,the strings got tighter and it was starting to dig into my skin.

My fingers firmly gripped the handle of the knife,I focused on the black abyss in his eyes.

"Hey!" I gasped sharply,that voice felt so familiar.Once Pup turned around,I plunged that knife I had in my hand deep into his gut.

I felt that feeling inside of me again,but now it was raging.

"Gahh.." he let out a quiet grunt,he gasped.Blood was spilling from the cut,I pulled the knife upwards and let go,he fell backwards while clenching his stomach.
I looked down at my hands,they were covered in blood and I still felt that feeling inside of me.

I looked up from my hands and saw Pup laying on the ground just a few feet away from me,I couldn't say anything.Would could I say?

But behind him stood Jeff,blood covering his hoodie and black ripped pants,he looked almost on the verge of tears.
I shakingly waddled over to him and hugged him tightly,I had thought he was hurt or I lost him.

"Is he alive?" Jeff whispered.

I shrugged my shoulders and glanced back at Pup.
"Hey Pup,you alive over there dude." Jeff asked,Pup let out a weak sigh and said.

"Unfortunately,I wish I told her it was joke before she stabbed me." He muttered,not moving a muscle.

"Oh my god pup,what the hell!" I shouted at him,that wasn't a type of joke you can say in a time like this.

"She was really worried about you Jeff,I mean,look at me..she's crazy I tell you." And without hesitation,his body turned into a pile of nothing but ash.

"W-what...Jeff I-" I was about to apologize.

"No no it's okay,just..leave it,I'm sure someone will find him.Come on." Jeff hesitated to walk,I followed him,not wanting to leave from his sight.I felt bad for Pup,he was a jerk to me but I didn't mean to kill him.

But that feeling was still inside of me,but this time,it felt more powerful.

I hid my face from the scene as we wondered deeper,I started to notice fog seeping in like water under my feet.
And before I knew it,it was up to ankles.

"Y/n hold onto my hoodie,dont let go no matter what." Jeff stated,I nodded and obeyed.

Liu's word stained my mind.

"So I told him to hide near the Witches Tree,no one goes there because often the fog and because Rake lives there." Liu said,pointing to the direction of the place.

I started to picture that rabid creature,how rough his skin was and how he was gonna kill me.My fingers traced the scab around my face and arms,I'll be more than glad to kill that thing.

A deafening screech was heard once the fog had taken over the whole path,I gripped Jeff's hoodie tightly,showing him that I was indeed kinda scared.

"It's gonna be alright" he whispered.

"Nothings gonna hurt you." He muttered.

"We'll find Jack." He mumbled.

I believed him,oh how foolish I was to believe him,I still wanted to have hope,I didn't want to give up immediately..

The noise lasted for about a full minute before it all went silent and Jeff stopped in his tracks,I peaked from the side of him to meet his eyes.

"Jeff?" I asked.

He was looking straight ahead,so I followed his stare.

So so sorry for posting this late,I had an extremely hard time thinking of what to do.But it think I have the rest of the plot figured out now,I'll be posting more often.
