Miketsu's P.O.V

Today was the start of this season's b-rank wars. I was still a bit surprised from yesterday but I had to focus on cheering on Chika-chan. However, I was pretty confident in her and the team she was in. I already knew what I had to do after, I already replied to Izumi-san's and Tachikawa-san's offer yesterday so there was no point in backing out. I'm sure that Chika-chan and her team will be able to do quite well through the season so I decided I should work just as hard. I reached the hall for the b-rank wars and by the time I made it, the agents were just transported. I decided I should stand around in the back because I knew the match was going to end shortly. I barely listened to the commentary and only looked at the screen. Kuga-senpai was as I expected with his skills, I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't satisfied with match and wanted to 'fight' more in all honesty, all though that was just my lowly opinion. It seemed like many were surprised with Chika-chan's ibis 'cannon' but it was within range of my expectations and I expected as much. With the match over I started walking towards Tamakoma-2's operating room to congratulate them, specifically Chika-chan. While I was walking, I noticed I got a text from Akari-san. The text basically requested for me to meet her at the cafeteria in 30 minutes. When I saw the operating room, I immediately sped up and went inside. "Hello everyone," I said quickly. They all greeted me back and then Usami-san spoke.

"What did you think of the match?"

"There was nothing to worry about with your team. As off now, preparing for future matches will probably the bigger concern. I think everyone did very well, though you don't need to listen to my lowly opinion," I answered.

For some reason, I saw the other 3 occupants in the room grin, although it seemed slightly strained. At that moment, Mikumo-senpai walked into the room.

"You guys did well and hello Miketsu-san," he said calmly.

I nodded in reply and took a glance at the clock in the room. Seeing I had to meet with Akari-san in 10 minutes I decided I should take my leave.

"It seems that I need to go as I am meeting with someone. Thank. you for allowing someone as lowly as me to visit after your first match. Also, Mikumo-senpai, I hope you get well soon."

With that, I left the room.

3'rd Person P.O.V

After Miketsu left, those left in Tamakoma's operating room were left somewhat... relieved? It was a questionably feeling they had and it may have been closer to concern or pity.

"Miketsu-chan still puts herself done."

Usami sighed at Chika's words.

"Yeah, but I wonder why she even started to speak and/or think like this, not that I though she would've changed immediately. Oh well, let's start with our meeting."

Meanwhile with Miketsu

"I apologize for making you wait Akari-san."

"No need to apologize because I came early. Anyways I like the respect but you can loosen up you know. We will be in each others' care for a while after all."

"I understand. Anyways, what should we start with?"

"Isn't that simple, I need information on you, we can do it at the cafeteria or even borrow sis's team's room, starting from your likes, hobbies, motives, actually that's optional, and your triggers."

"Understood."

"So pick where."

"The cafeteria if that is okay with you okay."

"Roger."

The 2 girls walked towards the cafeteria with this in silence, the question of what their relation is and how they met still in the air. To answer this, it would probably be easier if the full name of 'Akari-san' is. Her name is Kunichika Akari, the little sister of the operator of Tachikawa unit, Kunichika Yuu. When they reached the cafeteria, they sat down in silence and Akari initiated the conversation.

"So let's start with likes and hobbies. I like the color beige and I like bitter food. My hobbies are playing games, drawing, and programing. What about you."

"I like the color red and I like healthy food although I believe I am not particularly picky. My hobbies consist of training, studying, and eating. However, the 3 I have stated are more like pass-times."

"Training huh... Well then, do you have any pets?"

"I do not."

"Same here. Now onto triggers. You're mainly a gunner right?"

"Yes, although I am not very skilled. For my main, I have an asteroid handgun, asteroid, and viper. For my sub, I have an asteroid handgun, bagworm, and shield."

"Interesting..." Akari said slowly, taking out a notebook she had and writing things down.

Akari closed her notebook and nodded her head to herself.

"Well, I think we can change a few things but for now this is good. I saw a log of your match with Yuiga or whatever his name is that I got from sis. Have you tested all your triggers yet though?"

"Not yet. Although with my skill level, it is quite a low chance I can use it," Miketsu answered nonchalantly.

Once again, Akari hummed and nodded her head to herself. She seemed satisfied with the information and abruptly stood up. She dragged Miketsu out of her seat and silently speed walked.

"I need more data so you are going to have a few solo matches no questions asked. I will choose your opponents so I can get a larger grasp on your style. After 5 matches I will play around with your trigger set."

Miketsu in reply just nodded her head and looked down, allowing herself to be dragged by the presumably older girl. When they reached the solo rank wars area, she was thrown into a booth and Akari speedily scrolled through the available opponents. She choose a b-ranker that had a main weapon of asteroid and Miketsu glanced at Akari. Without a word, she was transported to the virtual field.

"I thank you in advance for being the opponent of my lowly existence."

"Huh?"

Time skip

"Now that we are done, I'm playing with your triggers. I'm not going to make too many changes, just 2 so rest at ease. After tomorrow is the important part and the uniform, I will design. Understood, good."

With that Miketsu was on her way to being completely ready for the next day.
