Training Commence

3'rd Person P.O.V

"Yo Miketsu-chan," Izumi exclaimed as he walked over to aforementioned girl. Miketsu simply bowed and the older male smiled at the action. The 2 were currently in the cafeteria/lounge of Hq as they had scheduled a training session. The 2 made their way towards Tachikawa squad's room as they didn't want to attract a crowd. The meeting room was empty and the 2 simply walked into a training room, turning on their trion bodies. "I'll be in your care," Miketsu said formally. Izumi glanced at the girl and turned away. "Well first of all, I got to say you have a rare style for a Border agent. Of course I'm not talking about the fact you choose to support more often but your arsenal. Most people would use a faster gun or a modified handgun. That's irrelevant though, what I mean is that as a shooter, I can't teach you much and your accuracy... you probably need a bit more experience is all. Anyways, I noticed you had an asteroid, so I can help you with that." Miketsu lightened up and started thanking Izumi, however... "People call me reckless though so I can't really do anything with your style of combat. Anyways, let's get started." Izumi started teaching Miketsu different things about techniques with the asteroid as Miketsu learned intently. Time went by calmly and Miketsu swallowed things in fast. "You're fast ain'tcha. I'm surprised! You learn faster than Ninomiya," Izumi commented.

"I do believe it is all because of your teaching skills but... now that you mention it, I have been told that often and... it was easy to adjust to Tachikawa-san's style."

"At least you're being honest... and STOP putting yourself down. Now that that's over with, we should apply that to an actual battle. I was thinking of adjusting who you could go against depending on your progress so..." Izumi said as he proceeded to think things over. "Yosh... I know where to go." Izumi then proceeded to pull Miketsu. "Izumi-san, I would be very thankful if you would perhaps let go." Izumi didn't mind Miketsu's plead as she was dragged by her sleeve. Miketsu sighed at this and decided there was no point of struggling. She closed her eyes and did 2 things, 1 being reviewing, drowning into her thoughts. All of a sudden, "Yo, Arashiyama, sorry for the short notice but is Kitora here," Izumi boomed after he stepped into Arashiyama unit's meeting room. Kitora by then just happened to walk out of the kitchen. "Izumi-san," she exclaimed in surprise, widening her eyes. She then coughed to gain her composure and looked at Arashiyama. "What's going on here?"
"That's what I'd like to know Izumi," Arashiyama replied casually. Miketsu by then was released from her mentor's grip and was standing properly. "Allow me to explain, Miketsu-chan here is my pupil and I feel like she's somewhat similar to Kitora. I thought it would be good experience for the both of them if they battled. Oh, and she supported Amatori-chan after Kitora went down." Arashiyama nodded than glanced at Kitora. He glanced back at Izumi then turned to look at Miketsu. "Well nice to meet you Miketsu-chan. I'm Arashiyama Jun and I'd like to say the spar seems like a good idea, but it is up to Kitora." Kitora jolted at this and looked Miketsu up and down. A b-rank huh. I have no reason to fight-" Kitora suddenly stopped and started sweating and hesitating. The reason for this was Miketsu's being was radiating with respect for the older female, although her face was blank. All of a sudden, Tokieda who was also in the room gave the final push. "Why not? You have no reason to not spar with her." Kitora relented and Izumi petted his pupil's head in approval. Izumi set up the training room as the girls stepped in. "Okay you 2, the battle will commence in 3," Miketsu breathed in. "2," Miketsu breathed out. "1." The atmosphere changed and Kitora charged in. Miketsu quickly shot at Kitora, narrowly missing her arms and head due to Kitora's dodging. Kitora took out a scorpion and slashed at Miketsu. Miketsu jumped back and dodged narrowly, calculations and scenarios going through her mind. All of a sudden, Kitora widened her eyes at the asteroid in front of her. She didn't have time to dodge so she used a shield and turned to the side in case the shield got destroyed. However, she smirked as she got away with Miketsu about to land... only to click her tongue when Miketsu landed irregularly. Miketsu had swiftly changed her course of landing and the reason for that was because Kitora had set up strings from her spider, probably from Miketsu's blind spot when Kitora slashed with her scorpion. Kitora shot at Miketsu with her asteroid, deciding to leave some distance as she became more defensive, Miketsu shooting accurately at many vitals and Kitora's limbs, applying her new asteroid techniques as limiters in Kitora's movements. After about a minute, Kitora maneuvered toward one of the corners, shooting at Miketsu's legs at the same time. Miketsu jumped and twirled to dodge the bullets and landed behind Kitora, falling right into her plans. Kitora shot 8 spiders at the ground and wall, entraping Miketsu and jumping in swiftly, bouncing of the wires and shooting at Miketsu. Miketsu however stayed calm, not even attempting to get out. She took out another pistol and put both arms up, predicting Kitora's movements and shooting at her feet. Kitora clicked her tongue and decided to get close, due to the fact it would probably be harder for Miketsu in a close range battle. She jumped towards Miketsu and took out her scorpion, only for her scorpion to shatter by the hands of pinpointed asteroid attacks that were stronger than usual. Kitora who got surprised was going to go on the ground for once in hopes of restabilizing herself and readied an asteroid, only to be on the ground with Miketsu restraining her in a short moment. Kitora's eyes dilated at this and so did some of the others, ell very subtly overall(definitely not including Satori who walked in and gaped). Izumi smiled at the outcome and clapped, the sound resonating due to the speakers in the training room as everyone regained their composure. "That's the end of it. Let's review later Miketsu-chan and reflect. Also, Kitora, would you like to talk about this as a group for specific details, 'cause I'm sure this was a great experience for you?" Kitora nodded at this and Miketsu released the elder girl from the restricting grip that relied heavily on physics and muscle/bone structure. The 2 walked out of the room and calmly sat down, Izumi following right after. "Okay you guys, I have a few things to say but let's start with questions. Anyone have anything they want to ask," Izumi inquired as the 'reflection meeting' commenced. "Oh, oh, Miketsu-san, what did you do to Kitora at the end," Satori enthusiastically asked. "I was curious about that as well. I have a rough idea but you moved so fast and the strings were obstructing my view as well," Arashiyama continued. "That is simple. Although I am not certain on Kitora-san's thought process, I believe she went under the assumption due to my previous actions that I would shoot at one of her vitals or limbs, as shooters and gunners usually do not engage in physical contact. Therefor, I simply took use of the assumption I would spring up again, and changed trajectory with my heel. I took Kitpra's hand and as a precaution prepared a shield around my arm. I twisted and used my weight and momentum to knock Kitora-san off balance and used my knee to restrain her shoulder. From the angle I trapped her, I was aware that Kitora-san's other hand would be at the side so I used my free leg simply to entrap her arm, leaving me with a free hand to keep Kitora-san at gunpoint." Satori awed at the detailed explanation and relentlessly continued. "What type of training do you do to do this stuff?"

"On a daily basis I do morning jogs with Reiji-san, then I lift weights. Every week or so I will go to the gym and I have a physical activity club I am in, although I do not frequent often." Miketsu was very nonchalant about this while the others were shocked. "Mikestu-chan, yu didn't tell me you jog with that muscular man," Izumi wailed.

"I must apologize but you have never inquired such matters," Miketsu replied with a straight face. The reflection continued and Miketsu became closer to the #5 squad, the meeting disbanding a while after. As Izumi and Miketsu walked down the halls, aimlessly in a sense, Izumi criticized Miketsu at one point. "You barely used the asteroid Miketsu-chan." Miketsu looked down slightly at this. "However, I told you at the start, your style isn't really for the asteroid trigger, so don't worry about it."
