Tears that's all I see when I look in the mirror.
This is all my mothers fault.
Ever since that day I invited home all those years ago she goes and ruins what we had.
He made me better told me know was perfect that he would always be with me.
And I believed him and now look at me I'm weak but I won't ever show it again.
I wipe my tears and start to do my makeup.
When I finish I put on my floral print skater dress and smile weakly at the mirror.
This has always been my routine since the day I caught Them together.
I'd go to school make it worth my while and find someone to at least have a fun time and come back home as late as I can the later the better.
That's just how it is and now that my mom is flaunting her engagement to him after she took him away from me how could she.
He's 20 now you know and my mother's 31 now yet they're together and I can't stand it.
He was mine first and my mother ends up taking him away from me.
I hear a knock on my door and go to answer it knowing who it was.
'Your mother is downstairs she wants to talk as a family.'

Since when did planning a date turn out to be so complicated!?
He doesn't want simple and I'm as simple as it gets!
I've been trying to think of the best ways of asking him out.
Should I go full tuxedo and carriage or the whole write it thing?
Ugh this is so difficult!
I start to get in my car and start driving to the creek.

Almost half way there I see bright lights of a ferris wheel and smirk.
I guess I know what I'm doing now.
I make a U turn and start to head to Brent's house.

I get out of the car and fix the bowtie that I had put on before leaving the house and nervously walk to his door.
Just before I get there I see the really pretty white roses and got an idea.
After I knocked the door I go down on one knee while holding the rose making sure I don't touch the thorns.
I look up a little and see Miss.Jackson smiling.
'I knew it! So where you taking him eh?'
I blush and whisper carnival.
'Okay two rules no sex out in public and no letting Brent try and when you something cause we all know he will just waste my money! Now let me go get Brent you can return to your previous position now.'
