6. Solo

"So, that's all for our meeting today. Prepare yourself for our camp time 2 weeks later.
If you still don't have your own camera, that's okay. Just don't forget to bring more external memory card and powerbank, just in case, you like the scenery there and want to become one with nature all days."

Finn end the preparation meeting to welcoming the juniors. Not much. Just 4 new members who can join his club officialy, because Mark and Fang so picky.

But that's good, because their decision about who can enter, never wrong.
Their club always won the competition. Sometimes didn't win all, but always bring home the trophy. And that's why uni never put that club in disbanned conversation.

Beside, they never ask about money. They accept number without asked more, because uni give all money they won for their right.

"Neil, where do you go after this?" Mark ask his junior

"To my apartmen, maybe, Phi. Why do you ask?"

"Okay then... Are you okay if I ride you home?"
That question surprising some people who sits close with them.

Neil's doubt what's in Mark' head. But ended with noded quietly

After what happened few day ago, Phi Mark never let Neil alone. Even he just keep silent and play or read something in his phone, but he always "ask" Neil for "permission" to accompany him.

"Wait for me here. Don't go anywhere. I must finish one two things for our camp days," Mark said straigth in to Neil eyes.

That means Mark doesn't want "No" answer for his requested or questions.

"Wait, Mark. I'll go with you," Fang stand up and follow Mark leave the room.

Neil POV

"Whatta great couple they are," said Phi Finn.

He talked with light tone. But I don't know why I feel heavy hear that line. I don't realize when I take a deep sigh before I look into my phone again.

"Something wrong, Neil?"

"Ah, nothing particular, Phi," I answer him quickly. "I just tired a lil' bit."

"Neil.."

"Yes, Phi?"

"May I ask you something?"

I just answer him with my eyes.

"What's goin' on between you and Mark?"

I'm so surprise with his question.

"Um... Nothing, Phi. Why?"

"Nothing. It's just.... I feel different with Mark lately. Something change in him. Yeah, he still being brat. But definetly he's not like who is he before..."

I feel confuse with his answer.

Suddenly I look at the door when I hear some footsteps come. I see Phi Mark look at me. He startled a lil' bit, then he let Phi Fang hand, which curl around his arm, go.

Once again. I feel hurt when I see that they are together. But I feel weird too, why do he pushed Phi Fang aside whe he knew that I looked him?

Mark POV

SHIT!

That's what I think when I see Neil look at me.

I take off Fang's hand from my arm. I don't want Neil miss-understanding this situation.

Yes, that everyone ship me and Fang because she looks like the only one who can get closer with me.
Actually? I don't fucking care.
I never ask her. She just tag herself along with me.

Since the first time I join this club.

Actually, I like being alone. Even in this club, I like doing everything alone rather than surrounded by people.

Maybe that's the reason why this club become more quite after the senior took over this club to my hand.

And Finn

And I don't know how that nosy person can be my one and only, my dear bestfriend.

But now, I don't even know, why it's bothering me, that Neil will miss-understand about me and Fang.
And I look something blue in his eyes, before it gone, and change with smile.

But that's not the smile I usually see from him.
It feels sadder and hit somewhere deep in my chest.

"Are you ready?" I ask while put all my things inside my bag.

"Yes, I am. But if you have another plan, you ca-"

"Let's go"
I take step to leave the room.
"I'm out, Finn," I say to Finn while I look back.

When he comes behind me?

I'm so surprise look Neil head behind my shoulder. I didn't hear his foot steps. Even Fang's create some noise with her shoes.

"Are you okay, Phi Mark?"

"Why do you ask?
Let's go"

I turn my head and walk fast to my car, behind the faculty' building.

"Do you want eat something before back?" I asked him.

"A cup of tea is okay, Phi."

Yeah. A cup of tea.
And it reminds me.
That few weeks ago, that's my first cup of tea with other people, after did that solo, just on my own.

"Okay then. Let's to the place I like."

"The place where we went before, Phi?"

"Humm.. You'll see by yourself. Just prepare your phone, I said."
