You and Gray pulled up to the hospital. he got out, came around to your side, and picked you up. you went inside and spoke to the front desk.
"Hi how can i help you today?" asked the front desk lady.
"My girlfriend hurt her knee really bad a couple days ago and it's only gotten worse and we think she broke it." Gray said
"Ok, i'm just going to have you fill out this paperwork and we will call you back for x-rays when the doctors are ready!" she said back.
you and gray went and sat down.
~One hour later~
"Miss Y/l/n?" a doctor called from the corner. he had a wheelchair for you to sit in.
you got in the wheelchair and left gray behind. The doctor took you back to the x-ray room where you took tons of different X-rays. Then he brought you into an exam room so you could wait.
~Twenty Minutes Later~
the doctor walked back in with the results. he sat down on his stool thing.
"Ok y/n, i'm Dr. West and looking at these X-rays, it's pretty obvious you shattered your patella, or knee cap. As you can see here, this piece is no longer connected to the other pieces, and this will require surgery to fix." Dr West said.
"Surgery? you're kidding me right?" you asked
"no dear, i'm sorry but i'm not. And we're already getting you a room prepared in the actual hospital so you'll be staying there overnight tonight and then we will see how long after the surgery you will need to stay. the surgery will be tomorrow at 7 am.". He said back.
"okay, whatever you have to do." you said, letting out a big sigh.
"ok great, i'm going to go get some supplies so we can put a temporary cast on until tomorrow." he said leaving the room.
~Ten Minutes Later~
Dr. West put the wrap from your
mid thigh to the bottom of your calf. he then wheeled you over to your actual room where you laid in you bed with your leg suspended from the ceiling.
"Dr. West, can you go get my boyfriend? his name is Grayson." you asked before he left.
"sure thing!" he said before exiting the room.
~five minutes later~
Gray walked in your room. his jaw dropped the second he saw you.
"hi babe!" you said as he slowly walked closer to you.
"holy shit, y/n are you okay?" gray said.
"yeah i'm good, i shattered my kneecap and i'm having surgery on it tomorrow morning at 7."
"babe i am so so sorry!" gray said, kissing your forehead.
"Gray it's ok! thank you for making me come here! if you hadn't, they said my kneecap could have become dislodged and i would have never been able to walk again." you said smiling.
"do you want me to stay with you tonight?" asked gray
"you don't have to."
"yeah, but do you want me to?"
"Gray i don't care!" you said smiling
"well i'm going to, it's the least i could do after causing this!" he said.
"i'm going to go back home and grab my pillow and a blanket for tonight, i'll be back later babe." he said walking out.
"bye gray, be safe!" you said.
