Book Endings
This is a topic that been bothering the hell out of me recently. I was reading a story and the chapter didn't even end! The author just stopped at one word!!
For Example:
"I was so excited to see my boyfriend again. We had only been dating for 3 days but I loved him so much and I was so sooooo happy I got to see him! I heard a knock on my door and I jumped up, making a quick duck face at the mirror just to be sure I looked good. And I did. I looked sexy as hell. I opened the door and...."
And...what?
And...Bibbidi bobbity boo, here's the rest of the chapter???
It ended like that and I was like, "Bitch, dafuq is this? Is this a fucking riddle, godamn?!" I think that was what the author thought suspense was. "Maybe I should keep going. Nah, I'll just end it at one word. Yeah! That's perfect!"
Uh, news flash BIATCHES, THAT IS NOT A GOOD ENDING!!! THAT'S NOT EVEN A FUCKING ENDING!
In my mind, if you're going to put some effort into writing a chapter of your so called "book", at least put some effort into the ending. Ending that chapter on one word like that is not an ending!!!
I just don't understand why people would do that. Is that a good ending in your twisted mind???
So to all of you crappy ass writers out there, if you can write a good ending, you can't write period. (I'm such a great people person)
It's past 12am and I'm exhausted. I'll try and update weekly. Leave suggestions of what you want me to talk about in the comments!
