The Blinker flew over the North Pacific Ocean once more, crossing the Dino Island and coming to visual range of Japan several minutes later. They hovered across the land for several more moments before eventually getting landing clearance from the MRaCD command center of Japan. Minutes later they were crossing the landing sight and entering the main city at the base of the alps. It was a totally different experience being here. Beautiful trees were everywhere, scattering the landscape at the foot of the mountains. The colder temperatures from the mountain ranges around them made this place all the more intoxicatingly beautiful with the chilling weather. Buildings loomed over them, and the people were greeting them as the trio were moved along by a delegate of the Dragon Force people. High, high atop the nearby alps was a large city where, just like the Dino Force, a large percent of the Dragon Force people lived. It was secluded from the outside world because of a few simple reasons. For one, the Dragon Force required different living spaces to accommodate their needs, which included nearly twenty hours a day in dragon form. For those not accustomed to human forms like Zayne, being in your Dragon form was a requirement to survive, lest your body slowly decay in the human form.

The Great Dragon City also had a very interesting cultural difference from the rest of the world. They had, instead of debates and political arguments, leader matches where challengers would test the strength of their leader and fight them for control over the people. This arena was also used to test or punish criminals for their actions. One other thing that separated the Dragon people from the Japanese people below was the drastic temperature climates. The Dragon City people could live in any temperature, even if one's element did not match up with the environment, provided they were in dragon form. The Japanese people could not, however, survive day in and day out up in the alps in the houses that the dragon people lived in. More like grottos and awnings, the Dragon City homes were open to the elements and in turn more connected with the barren but relaxing nature around them. Zayne wondered just how he and Damien would be accepted there, with them being more human than dragon most of the time. Perhaps they wouldn't mind at all? Maybe there would be a bit of resentment towards them? Zayne had learned of a debate within the Dragon community to allow Dragon Force members who were more accustomed to human living conditions into the city as citizens from the MRaCD records.

The Dragon Force delegate, as soon as he was free from the city and climbing the mountain, morphed into his dragon form and led the trio up the snowy cliff. Zayne found himself struggling at some points to climb in human form, but feared that if he changed forms his armor and clothing would be destroyed. Then again that hadn't been an issue before. Everytime Zayne or Damien, or even Eli for that matter, had morphed their clothes seemed to vanish and reappear when they morphed back. There really was no explanation for that. There was some form of scientific explanation that the MRaCD had given for everything except for that. It was weird, but despite the information Zayne refused to morph in case, just this once, this situation was an outlier from the rest and his clothing and armor was destroyed.

"This way," the delegate said as they reached a flat level of the mountain.

The trio followed close behind the much larger dragon, who was of the earth element, across a long flat white plain and over a hill, straight up to the main entrance of the Dragon City. It took the trio by surprise when they came over the hill straight to a civilized area, the bright lights and buildings resembling almost to a T the japanese buildings and city below. Dragons and small groups of regular looking people moved across the streets to finish their daily duties or jobs as they returned home for the evening, the sun on the horizon returning to the other side of the world. The delegate escorted the trio to a much larger and less open building on the other end of the city, people and dragons alike giving them a warm greeting as they passed. They had everything a city might need. Stores, a trading center, homes and businesses with different provisions to make or give, it was a bustling hub of a place. The building that the trio entered was decorated with much larger furniture than anything else they'd seen. Several dragons stood or sat around these pieces of furniture, some even sleeping on the large couches or seats.
