It was a busy day at Seoul National Hospital. It was Taehyung's first day back at work after returning from the states. It has been three years since he saw his colleagues and everyone was excited to see him again. No one but the Nursing Superintendent knew the reason why Taehyung had to be transferred to the States three years ago. It was so abrupt and sudden that no one think it was suspicious.
But Taehyung accepted that it was for the best for him and his kids to get away from various toxicity and the States offered just that. But after the Seoul National Hospital runs short of staff nurses, few selected Koreans who were transferred were called back. And Taehyung accepted with a heavy heart. He dreaded going back to the South Korea in general. But he had no choice but to simply follow the instructions given to him.

"Taehyungie. Bring your kids and lets have a family picnic this Saturday yeah? Namjoon reserved a very nice place just for us ever since he heard you were coming back." Seokjin enthusiastically told him.
Taehyung chuckled in delight. It was always nice to know that there are people who dearly love his kids and he will never doubt Namjoon and Seokjin's affection for them. After all Seokjin is the only relative he had left in the world. His brother Seokjin is truly a rock for him. And Namjoon is the perfect brother-in-law anyone could ever ask for.

"Sure hyung. I'm sure the kids will be delighted. Taegguk can't stop talking about you guys ever since the dinner last week."

Seokjin sighed dreamily "When I think about Taegguk, its like I'm going to cry from his cuteness."

Taehyung laughed at his hyung's exaggeration.

He was about to tease him but his phone started ringing.

It was an unknown number. Ever since he got divorced and moved to the States, he don't really keep in touch with anyone so he was a bit sceptical about the call but he shrugged and took the call thinking that it was probably the advertising company that won't stop calling him.

Hi Tae..

Taehyung swore his heart stopped.
He couldn't hear anything else except that familiar voice which was once his favourite voice but now, its the one voice he wish he never hear again.

Tae! Its me Jeongguk. I..i just ..

Taehyung hung up the phone and Seokjin having noticed the whole situation took the phone right out of Taehyung's frozen hand.

"Who was it Tae??" He asked.

Taehyung closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

And then he slightly shook his head and chuckled.

"That son of a bitch. Can't believe he have the guts to call" He muttered.

Seokjin realised who Taehyung was talking about and did Taehyung the favour of blocking the number.
