Chapter 3

Taehyung spent the last three years with too little time for himself. He focused on his three kids and his work. He needed to make sure they are financially stable, happy, healthy, together. He wants the four of them to be together till the end. He spent days and nights trying to occupy the space left behind by their other father. Their 'Papa'. He don't want his children to feel the vacancy. He wants them to forget about the man.

And he tried to stay strong most of the times and he did a great job at putting up a happy façade. But then, one single appearance wrecked all the efforts Taehyung has made. He did not want his kids to see him break. But now, here he is sobbing in the arms of Junghyung, his eldest son.

After the encounter with his ex-husband, Taehyung brought the kids to the ice cream parlour even though Junghyung suggested that they should just went home straight. But Taehyung was determined to keep his promises all the time.

"I'm so sorry baby. I don't and I never wanted you to see me break.." Taehyung said while his son engulfed him in his arms.

"Its okay Dad. You're so strong. You've been strong alone for too long. Allow me to be strong for you from now onwards." Junghyung said and Taehyung heart breaks.

His son is sixteen, only sixteen.

"You shouldn't have to be comforting me! I'm your father but Junghyungie forgive me! I'm so weak baby!" Taehyung cries.

His son should have a typical teenager life.
Carefree, moody, angsty, out with friends on weekends like he was when he was sixteen.

But here he is, comforting his Dad.

"Dad. . I am your son. And I love you the most in this world. Its my responsibility to look after you too. You're an amazing parent and we don't need no one else. You've given us everything we want. We're probably the most happy kids in the entire world. We're so lucky to have you. You're not weak at all! You're so strong Dad! And I love you so much. I'm going to make sure you don't shed a tear for him again."

Junghyung was determined and he mean it. He will do everything his teenager self could for his father's happiness.

"Taehyungssi. There's someone here to see you. He's been waiting for one hour. He's in the station" The receptionist told him as soon as he stepped inside the hospital.

His body grew stiff and his eyes widened.
He still have the guts to show up here?
He thought in his head.
He let out a deep sigh and thanked the receptionist.

"Did he tell you who he was?" Taehyung asked just as he was about to make his way towards the station. It must be an important person if he was allowed inside the nurses station.

"Oh yes. Min Yoongi"

Taehyung was confused. He had never heard of the name. But he was also relieved. He honestly don't know if he still have the energy to deal with his ex-husband and he pray that the asshole never show up in his presence or his children's life again.

Taehyung walked inside the station to be greeted by the sight of his colleagues fidgeting and blushing while glancing at the man who sit on the couch. Unbothered and paying no attention to the people around him.

"Good morning everyone!" Taehyung greeted his colleagues and they shifted their attention towards him. Taehyung may be a single dad with lots of work hours but he still managed to shine among every other else. And his colleagues admired him for being so strong, so kind and just so beautiful.

"Taehyung-ahh! You're here! Did you have fun last night?" One of his colleagues asked and he forced a smile and nodded his head.

"Yeah yeah we did. The kids ate a lot!" He said.
