Chapter 17

Taehyung stroked Jeongguk's hair lightly and watched as the younger slept in his arms soundly with contentment evident in his face.

Taehyung can't help but smile and pecked his forehead.

He is so glad that they are able to patch things up. Although the scar will remain somehow, they have learnt to move on altogether.

But there was one thing, one person, never leaving his thoughts.

He is always close to him at heart even though its been a while since he last saw the man.

His Yoongi hyung.

The man has been nothing but kind to him and his family.

He had been there for him when he was alone and he helped him save Junghyung from the depth of depression. He sacrificed his times and efforts for them and never asked for anything else.

Did I lead him on? Is it my fault that he developed feelings for me?

Taehyung thought to himself and this thoughts keep him up at night.

He feel guilty for being happy while his Yoongi hyung is probably suffering on his own.

He grabbed his phone for the nightstand and looked through the many photos of Yoongi and his kids.

I'm sorry Yoongi hyung. I'm sorry that I can't return your feelings but I will bring you back into our lives and I will make sure you are happy too.

Taehyung had a day off and Jeongguk suggested that they both drop their kids at school and then hang out by the park with Taegguk.

The park was not crowded and was very serene and peaceful.

Taegguk ran around chasing butterflies and both his parents kept close eyes on him.

Jeongguk looked at Taehyung and he can tell right away that his lover had something on his mind.

He took his hand and kissed it gently earning adorable giggles from the elder.

"What's on your mind? Care to share it to your baby?" Jeongguk cheekily asked.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and gently flicked the younger's chin.

And then he sighed.

"It's just that.. I can't stop thinking about Yoongi hyung." He said.

Jeongguk froze for a while wondering why?

"Ggukie.. I know how you feel baby. But Yoongi hyung means a lot to me. He's like my rock when you were gone and he had done so much for us and I just feel so guilty for being happy when I don't even know if he's okay!" Taehyung sobbed.

Jeongguk sighed and pulled him into his arms.

Although it hurts, he knows that its the truth.

Yoongi plays an important role in Taehyung's and their children's lives.

"I know baby. I understand. I get it." Jeongguk said even though he is scared that Yoongi will replace both his role as Taehyung's husband and their children's father.

"I want him back in our lives Ggukie. And I need you to be alright with it. Because I don't want you to be insecure due to his presence. You're irreplaceable." Taehyung said softly.

Jeongguk's tears spilled as he was touched by the words. Can he read my mind? He thought.

"Yeah baby. Yes."

"Do you know that he is your brother? I know I promised Yoongi hyung that I won't tell you this but I think he deserve a real brother and I know you need one too." Taehyung told him.

Jeongguk was shocked.

"Yoongi hyung knows that we are related?" He asked, shocked.

Taehyung nodded his head.

"Yeah. You know about this?"

"Yes! I've known about it since we were kids and we got along so well! But then he just left me! I don't know he knows that we are brother though!" Jeongguk said.

Taehyung sighed.

"Ggukie. Your father threatened him to keep it a secret. He don't want anyone to know that he had a son from other woman. Yoongi hyung loved you so much but your father was so cruel to him." Taehyung relayed what he heard from Yoongi.

Jeongguk shed a tear and buried his face into Taehyung's chest.

Taehyung cried with the younger and pat his back gently.

"We'll find him baby. We'll find him."

It wasn't Yoongi's intention to fall for someone who is already in love with someone else. It wasn't his intention to fall for a family that he can't have.

It wasn't his intention to get his heart break. It never was his intention to spend a month alone isolated from everyone else in a home which once belonged to his grandmother. But now his grandmother is gone and the house is dead and deserted. But Yoongi found comfort in the house.

When Jeongguk was young, Yoongi vowed to take care of him and look after him. The young boy looked up to him and admire him. And Yoongi adored his younger brother.

But then his father had to ruin everything.
And the chance of him having a beautiful life with his younger brother was ruined.

And then he found his second chance with the said younger brother's husband but that also is ruined and this time, Yoongi can't blame Jeongguk nor Taehyung.

He love Taehyung so much to blame him or hate him.

And his younger brother Jeongguk.

He hated him for the wrong reasons for so long and when he suddenly came back, he was not ready to let go of his ideal partner and ideal family. He had no choice but to choose to hate him.

But he know that he cannot really hate him. He is his younger brother after all.

Yoongi wants to just give up.

He feels so alone.

He's a psychologist and he's used to helping others but he's the one who really need someone.

But he have no one.
