Chapter 13

It was in the way that Taehyung served him the food first before Yoongi and in the way Taehyung fill up his glass when they were empty and the way he sat beside him during dinner that reassure Jeongguk that Taehyung really didn't lie when he told him he still loves him in the hospital.

"Papa. Will you come to Hyungie's basketball game tommorow night?" Taejung asked while chewing his food adorably.

"Oh! Junghyungie! You have a game tomorrow night?" Jeongguk asked, getting excited.

Junghyung smiled bashfully and nodded his head.

"He is our little prodigy! Been the ace since the start of the season!" Yoongi proudly bragged.

Jeongguk felt a bit disheartened.

"I know. He has always been an ace since he was little. Remember when you would make the older kids cry because you beat them at a game?" Jeongguk asked. Eager to talk about a topic which Yoongi won't know.

"I know right! Junghyungie is such a genius! He is even good at math! He's good at everything!" Yoongi bragged again.

Jeongguk sighed. It doesn't go unnoticed because Taehyung was catching up on what's going on.

"He's a Jeon. He's good at everything." Taehyung said, smiling softly at Jeongguk who nearly burst out in tears.

Jeongguk gratefully smiled at him.

"But he is also kind. And courageous. I bet he don't get that from the Jeons tho. I would know." Yoongi bitterly spat.

Everyone in the room froze.

"Hyung!" Taehyung exclaimed in disbelief.

Yoongi glared at him.

"What Taehyung?" He spat back.

"Yoongi hyung. Don't raise your voice at him." Jeongguk spat.

Yoongi scoffed.

"What? You think you can just slide back into their lives and played the hero?"

"I've apologized! We made up! Why are you so bitter about it all?" Jeongguk retorted.

"Why? Because I've seen the damage you've done to them! You have no right to come back in to their family like nothing happened!" Yoongi shouted, scaring Taegguk. Junghyung quickly hold his brothers in his arms.

"They are my family!" Jeongguk shouted back.

"They are mine too! Go back to your good for nothing parents!" Yoongi shouted.

Jeongguk couldn't say anything after that.

"Yoongi hyung!" Taehyung called.

"Can I talk to you outside?" Taehyung asked.

Yoongi looked away from his brother and then at Taehyung.

He sighed. He cannot say no to Taehyung ever.

Taehyung watched as Yoongi went towards the balcony. He looked at Jeongguk and sent him a smile.

"I'll be back Ggukie. Please finish the food." Jeongguk nodded his head. There were tears in his eyes that he held back.

He let it out when Taehyung scoot forward and hugged him.

"I'm sorry Ggukie." He apologized.

Taehyung pecked his cheek and looked at his eldest son.

"Baby.." He called and gestured him to come over to comfort his Papa.

"Hyung.." Yoongi turned around at the soft voice of Taehyung.

"Hey baby. Is Taeggukie okay? He must be so scared after I shouted." Yoongi asked. He felt bad for letting his temper get the best of him.

Taehyung forced a smile and shook his head.

"He's okay hyungie" He said.

He walked closer to Yoongi and sat beside him.

"But what you said to Jeongguk isn't okay Hyung.." He began.

Yoongi was about to argue with him but Taehyung quickly took his hands into his warm big ones.

"Hyung..I know how you feel. I know you aren't ready to forgive him just yet because you saw how broken we were. But. . hyung..he is the father of my kids.. he is the love of my life." Taehyung softly said.

Yoongi broke down.

"Why?? Why can't you love me instead? I trust you with all my heart. I keep you above everyone and anyone else. I love your sons like they are mine! I have never hurt you! Just why do you love him again?" Yoongi shouted, hurt and broken.

Taehyung was shocked. He never even suspected the elder of having a feeling for him in that way. He was aware the elder love him but not in this way.

"Hyung.. what??" Taehyung gasped.

Yoongi's tears streamed down in his face as he took Taehyung's face into his hand and lean forward to kiss him.

Taehyung was so shocked that it took him about four seconds to push Yoongi away unaware of the man standing behind the glass door, watching them and then going away when he couldn't take the sight.

"Hyung!" He exclaimed!

"I never stopped loving Jeongguk. He is the love of my life hyung. I'm sorry if I led you on and I do love you very much but hyungie! Not this way!"

Yoongi chuckled.

"I guess this is how it's always going to be. My little brother always getting the best of everything and all the things I want."

He stood up.

"Hyung.." Taehyung began.

Yoongi engulfed him in a hug and stood silently for a minute.

"I still want you in our live hyung. You're so precious to me. You're our family. My brother. My hyung!" Taehyung cried in his chest.

Yoongi heart broke.

He left a soft peck in Taehyung's head and turned away to head out.

"Hyung.." Taehyung softly cried.

"I need some time Taehyungie.." Yoongi said, not looking back.

He held back his tears and went outside the house and into his car.

He started the ignition and drive away.

He allowed himself to sob out his heart in the car.
