Chapter 4

It wasn't Seokjin's intention to step inside the Jeon's household. If it was up to him, him and his husband would stay away from them as far as possible. But Namjoon was a shareholder and an important investor in Jeon Corps and aside that, Jeongguk was Namjoon's friend. But after what Jeongguk had done, Namjoon and him stay away from him and making the raven haired man know how much they hate and despise him. But Jeon Minwoo would gather their shareholders every once in a year for a get-together to discuss how to profit the company. Seokjin never accompanied Namjoon in the past three years but Namjoon pleaded him to tag along and he couldn't possibly let his husband down. So he entered Jeon's household to see his brother's ex-husband and ex father-in-law.

Seokjin's eyes met Jeongguk's who was standing near the entrance to greet the guest. There was a woman hanging off his arms and Seokjin scoffed. He hate Jeongguk so much. How dare he still tried to call Taehyungie when he clearly moved on!!

"Hyung.." Jeongguk greeted them, shrugging off the woman.

Seokjin chuckled bitterly and decided to let his bitch mode take over.

"Hello Jeon Jeongguk. Long time no see! I see you've done a great job moving on." Seokjin replied, plastering a cruel smile on his face.

Jeongguk eyes widened and he shifted his gaze upon Namjoon who was shaking his head at him, with obvious disappointment.

"Hello pretty lady. I hope your boyfriend is treating you right." Seokjin said to the woman.

The woman giggled and draped her arms across Jeongguk's body again.

"Yes! Oppa is so good to me!" She cheerfully replied.

Seokjin let out a fake forced laugh and observed Jeongguk. He enjoyed how uncomfortable he looked.

"That's good for you honey. Great to know that he had finally learnt to treat someone right."

Jeongguk sighed and shrugged the woman off again.

"Hyung.. can I please talk to you for a minute?" Jeongguk begged Seokjin.

Seokjin snorted.

"The audacity!" He mumbled and tried to go away but to his utter shock, his husband grabbed him.

"Seokjinnie, can you please just listen to him once?" Namjoon pleaded.

Seokjin felt betrayed.

"Why do you even think I would talk to him Namjoon? Are you out of your mind?" He whispered shouted.

Namjoon groaned.

"Its just that he has been bombarding me with texts and calls. Just please for my sake. Hear him out just once and you can tell him to fuck off. Okay?"

Seokjin hated it but he had no choice. He don't want to embarrass his husband.

He turned to Jeongguk and glared at him.

"Fine! But after this! You fuck off!"

The woman gasped.

"Why do you talk to oppa like that? How dare you!"

Jeongguk groaned.

"Kimi-ssi, excuse us for a minute." He said and gestured for Seokjin to follow him.

Seokjin glared at the woman and followed his ex brother-in-law with his husband in tow.

Jeongguk led them upstairs and into his room where everything was neatly arranged. Seokjin's gaze fell on the family picture taken on the day taegguk was born. The framed photo was kept on the locker beside the bed.

Jeongguk closed the door and locked it.

"Please have a seat"

Namjoon and Seokjin sat on the couch in the corner of the room and Jeongguk sat on his bed.

"You probably hate me, and I know that." He began.

Seokjin chuckled bitterly.

" Yes I hate you with all of my soul"

Jeongguk's tears welled up in his eyes but he nodded his head. He understand.

"Yes. I deserve it. Hyung I.."

"Don't call me that. I am no longer your hyung and I don't want to be.."

Jeongguk closed his eyes to prevent his tears.

"Yeah.. hyung just listen to me. I have missed Taehyung and my kids so much.. and I know I don't deserve them and.."

Seokjin stood up suddenly.

"I can't hear this! You're right! You don't deserve them! You don't get to even think about them! You're so selfish! I can't believe we allowed Taehyung to marry you in the first place! You ruined his life! And what? You think you get to miss them now? Do you even know how much the kids hate you? Do you think they would even allow you in their or their father's life! You moved on! You're a Ceo now, what you always want to be! Your father and you are finally living your dream life! You have a girlfriend for fuck sake! You get to live out your dreams while my brother was trying his best for his children, he was struggling with life with insecurity, he was struggling financially and emotionally. And you are here with a new life! You're disgusting! Don't ever try to talk to me or Taehyung again! I am going to make sure Taehyung have a partner who will fill the space you left. I will make sure that my brother find someone who will be a parent to his children! And they will never think of you again!" By the time Seokjin was done, all of them were crying but Seokjin didn't care, he doesn't even spare a glance to anyone. He just left and slammed the door shut.

Namjoon stared at Jeongguk.

"You fucked up man! I tried to side with you and hear you out but its hard to do that when your actions contradicted your words!"

Jeongguk shook his head.

"No hyung! She's not my girlfriend! She's just someone my father wants me to marry!"

Namjoon sighed.

"Jeongguk.. if you really want your family back, you need to leave your father. According to all the things you told me, it was your father who led you to believe that Taehyung was cheating on you. And you know that Taehyung will never do that. Your father was always against your marriage with Taehyungie because he's not from a wealthy family. You have to make a choice. Taehyung or your father?"

Jeongguk cried.

"I know hyung. I know what I want. I am ready to leave my father. But I need to know if Taehyung will accept me. What if he don't accept me?"

Namjoon shook his head.

"I can't guarantee you that. But Jeongguk, you're so selfish!" He said.

Jeongguk gasped and looked at Namjoon, shocked.

" Hyung!"

" You're not willing to risk anything. I don't think you love Taehyung enough. Maybe Seokjin is right! Taehyung needs to find someone new too." Namjoon said thoughtfully.

Jeongguk shook his head and cried harder.

" No hyung! I love him the most. I am willing to risk everything for him! No.. hyung he can't find someone else! How will I live!"

"You've lived pretty well all these years" Namjoon replied.

Jeongguk broke down.

No one will understand! And its my own fault! I am ready to leave father! But what will I do if Taehyungie doesn't accept me? I will be left without a family!
