Chapter 5

It was never in his dreams, never. It took him times, years to believe it. He couldn't fathom it, but all the truths are laid out before him. And he regrets everything he had done. He feel so awful for just upping and leaving his husband. Oh for fuck sake they have three kids and he left them all alone for what? To save himself from a possible heartbreak? He hate himself so much for not trusting Taehyung enough and for never giving him explanation.

"How could you do that Father? He is my world! Didn't you atleast care for your grandchildren? Fuck Taehyung was alone! How could you do this to me!" Jeongguk screamed at his father while flipping the desk. His eyes were filled with rage and tears streamed down his face. His mother was silently weeping in the corner while his father looked shocked.

Jeongguk was on his way to confront his father about the truth. He did not make it inside their room because he could hear his father talking to his mother about how Jeongguk was almost figuring out the truth.

It was Jeon Minwoo who convinced his son that his husband was cheating on him. He went extra miles to Photoshop Taehyung with a man, dining out, making out, at a party, at a Villa. And Jeongguk didn't even for a second, think that his father would lie, he didn't even think about how his husband Taehyung don't even have time for himself, he was so busy with the kids and his job. Not to mention how their youngest was just born.

He doesn't want to hear confirmation from Taehyung because it would kill him, so he just told Taehyung on one fine morning that he want divorce. He still could remember how Taehyung cried and how he begged him to explain or how he countlessly and endlessly told him that he don't want divorce and that he loves him. Jeongguk hate himself so much.

A man, who was responsible for the photoshop approached Jeongguk a year back and told him about all the wrong doings of his father because the man couldn't live with the guilt. But Jeongguk was too late, Taehyung had left for the states with the kids. And Jeongguk was never strong enough to confront his father because his father is always his superhero, always so perfect. His father's love and attention would divert him from his thoughts about Taehyung and his sons. But when he saw Taehyung and his sons again, he couldn't deny his desire to be with them again. But he could see their hatred for him. It kills him to see his husband and even his own kids hating him with all their beings. But he knew he deserved it. After Namjoon talked some sense in him, Jeongguk made up his mind that he wants Taehyung and his sons back. He made up his mind to confront his father. And hearing the truth from his father's mouth, he felt all kinds of emotions. Anger, hatred, regrets, he loathed himself the most.

Jeongguk broke down and fell to his knees and sobbed.

"I left my baby all alone!" He cried.

"He never cheated on me. Fuck! I'm so terrible! I hate you so much! I hate you two!"

"Son, it was for your own good. We wanted to make you a reliable and strong Ceo and they were holding you down" Jeon Minwoo tried to justify himself.

Jeongguk stood up and grabbed him by the collar.

"How could you fucking say that!??? They are my world!!!!! I never wanted to be a fucking Ceo! All I wanted was to be happy with my family!" Jeongguk cried.

He glanced at his mother.

"And you! Don't you have any love for your grandchildren? How could you do this to me, to us? To Taehyung who loves you like his own, to our kids who loves you so much?"

Jeongguk's mother cried loudly. But she couldn't utter a word.

Jeongguk wiped his tears and sighed.

" I am leaving. Both the CEOs position and the unfortunate position of being your son!"

His parents gasped and tried to make him stay but Jeongguk left the house with the determination to bring his family back.

He drove his car and raced towards the place where he knew his family lives.

He was crying and insulting himself for being so so stupid and selfish.

He cannot even imagine how Taehyung or his children might feel.

And to top it all, Taehyung and his children saw him with a woman that his father forced him to see.

He pounded his fist on the steering wheel and sobbed.

It was by pure accident that he saw his family with a very familiar man exiting a restaurant.

He was stuck in the traffic and he took one quick glance outside. And it was through the window glass that he was his family laughing with another man.
