My friends and I decided to go out to a club tonight since it has been a long week. I've been having personal troubles with my boyfriend which I've been trying not to let that get to me.

A couple of minutes later my two friends would pull me onto the dance even though I really wanted to sit down and take a break.

I finally got a moment to sit down with a few of the guys that came with us so allowing me to rest my legs. I sat on the other side of Shawn, who hadn't noticed that I came over until a couple of minutes later.

"You seem a little down?" Shawn asked looking me directly in the eye

"I'm fine, I'm just trying to get a break from those two." I said giving a smile.

"I know what's going on between you and your boyfriend." He said into my ear

"I really don't want to talk about him tonight." I said hoping he would just drop it.

"Personal I think you could do better" He told me getting up grabbing my hand pulling me out to the dance floor.

"You want to dance?" I asked shocked that he was going to try to dance

"If it makes you smile then I've done my job." Shawn said making me laugh.

After a few minutes of us dancing I looked over to my right and my heart felt like it had broken into a million pieces.

There he was with his arms around another girl. Their lips inches away from one another.

I looked down at the floor and Shawn quickly noticed what I saw but now they were kissing.

"That little pieced shit" Shawn said before before walking over to him.

I couldn't hear a word he was saying but thank you god there was someone pulling Shawn away from him. Shawn turned around heading towards me grabbing my hand pulling me out the door.

We got into our car and sat there for a moment of silence. I couldn't think of anything to say or do and I couldn't help but have tears run down my face.

"Y/N I'm so sorry." Shawn said looking over at me

"Can I stay the night at your place?" I said wiping away the tears that had rolled down my face.

"He doesn't deserve you" Shawn told me as I started to cry even more putting my head down in my lap and having him rub my back.
