"Why do stay with him?" My best friend Shawn asked me

"Can we not talk about this right now?" I said grabbing my phone from the table then joining him in the living room.

"I'm just saying. I'm your friend and I don't like how he treats you." He told told me crossing his arms over his chest looking over at me

"It's not that big of a deal." I said right before my phone rang showing my boyfriend name pop up.

"Hello" I said answering the phone to see Shawn just roll his eyes

"Where are you?" He yelled me taking me by surprise

"I'm at Shawn's apartment. Is something wrong?" I asked trying to stay calm

"Why are you with him?" He asked

"He's my friend. I'm allowed to hang out with friends." I told him getting a little annoyed as I looked over to my right to see Shawn balling his hands into a fist.

"I'm coming to get you-" he said before Shawn grabbed the phone out of my hand

"Actually I think Y/N will be staying with me for a while because I don't remember you being the boss of her. By the way she's breaking up with you." Shawn told him before hanging up on him throwing my phone on the bed then messing in his hair

"Sorry... I just couldn't sit here and listen to the way he was talking to you." Shawn said looking down at me as I just looked down at the floor.

"Thank you" I said as tears rolled down my face and Shawn came to sit beside me rubbing my back as I cried in his arms.
