I just got done with all my class for today. I was walking across university to meet my best friend Shawn at the library.

I sat across from Shawn doing homework when I looked up and saw my friend Sammie smiling at me as he came towards us.

"Hey, How do you think you did on the test?" Sammie asked as I looked at him trying not to blush to him

"Honestly, not so great." I told him as we both laughed a little

"Well then, maybe we should study together for the next one." He told me as felt someone step on my foot and I glared at Shawn who looked pissed.

"That would be great. I'll text you." I told Sammie smiling before he walked away.

I looked in front of me to see Shawn sitting there with him arms crossed.

"What's your problem?" I asked him frustrated about how he's acting.

"Nothing, I'm doing great." Shawn said as I just rolled my eyes

"Oh really, so you would have no problem if I was going to text Sammie and have lunch with him tomorrow?" I asked grabbing my phone from the table

"You're not going anywhere with him." He said immediately

"You're so cute when you're jealous." I told him laughing a little.

"I'm not jealous. I just know he's no good for you."  He said annoyed.

"Whatever, I'm going to call it a day and head back to my apartment." I said putting my stuff into my backpack

"At least let me walk you to your car it's late ." Shawn said as we got up walking to the elevator

"Awe, my hero" I said messing with him as made our way to my car.

We walked towards my car talking about random things and laughing at each other. We stopped at my car talking when a guy came to his car that was parked beside mine.

"Hey y/n... oh and Shawn." Sammie said coming to stand beside me

"Oh hey, what's up?" I told him

"Nothing much y/n, hey I was wondering are you free tomorrow? Maybe we could go get some lunch-." Sammie said before Shawn cut him off

"Sammie she's not interested."Shawn said stepping in front of me not letting me speak

"Y/N can speak for herself. It's not like you're her boyfriend." Sammie said taking a step closer to Shawn even though he's still shorter than him

"And if I was? I said she's not interested. She's not going a date with you nor will you ever be her boyfriend so stop asking her." Shawn said almost yelling at him before Sammie backed off getting into his car and driving off.

"Care to explain what that was all about." I said as he turned back around to face me as I lended against my car

"Like I said he's no good for you." He said since that was his answer to everything

"What's that matter to you Shawn? What if I liked him? You did stop to think about that." I said annoyed because Shawn does this with every guy I come in contact with.

"I know you don't." He told me coming to stand inches away from me.

"Then tell me who I like since you know what's best for me." I asked looking him directly in the eye the whole time.

Within minutes Shawn pushed his lips into mine not giving me any room to move and before I knew it I had begun to kiss him back. Our lips moved together perfectly not leaving each for a second. After a few minutes we finally pulled away bringing our foreheads together as I held onto his neck while he had his arms around me.

"I think I know what's best for you." He said causing me to smile
