Y/N was still in her class at university for a good twenty more minute and I wanted to surprise her by going on a drive once she got home because she's been really stressed out lately. So far my plan was to pack a lunch and us go watch the sunset and that's as far as I've gotten.

I went ahead a texted Y/N to head straight home once she was done with class so that we could head on our way.

I stayed in the living room watching television not moving until I heard the front door open and turned around to see Y/N coming in.

"Hey" I said giving her a smile as she came over joining me on the couch

"Hey, how come you wanted me to come home right after class?" She asked laying her head on my shoulder

"I was thinking how about how you've been stressed lately and we should just take a drive to get our mind off of college for a moment." I told her as she just smiled at me

"Where do you want to go?" She asked me

"It's a surprise" I told her standing up putting my hand out for her to grab it.

We drove about 30 minutes outside of town to a park where I parked the car and we went up to the top of the hill to watch the sunset.

"You drove this far all to watch the sunset?" She asked me resting her head on my chest.

"I wanted us to get away from school." I told her messing in her hair

"Thank you Shawn." She told me giving me a kiss on the cheek.
