Faerydae: The Lost Kingdom Part 1

Chapter 14

When I opened my eyes I was in a beautiful clearing. In the distance I saw two girls sitting in the grass near a lake. They were dressed in simple clothes. One girl wore blue pants and a white t-shirt. Her hair was dark blue and in a ponytail. The other girl had long pale pink hair. She wore an off the shoulder light blue green half sleeve shirt with a short black skirt, long black socks and black flats.
What looks like two odd shaped vehicles are hovering further up a hill. "Ahhhhhhh!" I heard someone shriek. I turned to face the person who shrieked. Seraphina stood there awestruck. Her wings and Luca's were still hidden along with mine. "Is there something wrong?" I asked confused. "Y-you..." Seraphina started. "You look beautiful." Calix says. I snapped my fingers and a mirror appeared in front of me. I gasped. I was beautiful. My hair was up in a high curled ponytail. My hair was almost down to the back of knees. I wore a white leotard with a long skirt attached to a chest plate. I had a long sleeve blue shirt on with a tall collar. I wore armoured shoulder pads and long armoured gloves. I had on a silver tiara with a flower in the right side of my ponytail. I wore very tall armoured boots. I saw the hilt of a sword in sheath on my back. I took it out and examined it. It was beautiful, with gems on the hilt and a long sturdy blade. I looked at everyone else's outfits. Seraphina wore a strapless dark purple and silver armored leotard. She had a bow on her back and quiver of arrows around her waist. On her left hand was a glove. She had on silver flats with straps that wrapped around her legs. Luca was shirtless with loose black pants, a white belt, and no shoes. Calix wore simple blue pants and a white shirt. "Why do I look like this? Why are you looking at me like that? Who am I?" I asked slightly freaking out.
"Milady." Luca said and bowed. Seraphina bowed as well. "Why are you two bowing?" I asked. "Come on. Follow us." Luca said. I nodded. "Milady Euphie." Calix said as he bowed and motioned for me to walk ahead. I tried to curtsied in return, but found it harder as I am not in a dress. So I bowed and replied. "Thank you my prince." I smiled and followed Luca and Seraphina. We walked to the edge of the lake. They looked around and then walked into the the water. When they were about waist deep they turned back to us. "Come on. The rebellion camp is this way." Seraphina said. I looked at Calix and shrugged. I walked into the water. Calix followed. When we reached Seraphina and Luca, Seraphina dived into the water. Luca did the same and as confused as we were, Calix and I followed. We swam through a hole into a cave. When we exited the cave we swam back up and reached the surface.
When I looked around all I saw was water and a huge mountain in the distance. We swam to the mountain and when we got closer I could see buildings nestled into the mountain. There were trees on the very top of the mountain and a bridge that led to a lone tower. Far beyond the mountain where the sky meets the water i could see the faint outline of more mountains. We climbed up onto the lowest level on the mountain. Seraphina snapped her fingers and were all dry again. "Where are we?" I asked. Seraphina walked over and tapped a rock. A small circle of light appeared on the rocks and moved quickly. Now a rectangle was drawn into the rock. The area of rock disappeared to reveal a spiral staircase. "Cool." Calix said. We followed the still silent Luca and Seraphina up the staircase. We were now standing outside all the buildings. "Welcome to Faerydae's Rebellion Camp." Luca and Seraphina said. "Wow." I said. I walked down the dirt path looking at the buildings.
So this is a rebellion camp. "Hybrids of Faerydae!" I heard Luca say. "We would like to welcome to you, Prince Calix of Alteria. We also must introduce to you, Princess Euphemia of Alteria, the lost Princess of Faerydae" Seraphina finished. Slowly one by one people came out of the buildings. They stared at me. Calix came over and took my hand in his. Then something no one expected happen. They all bowed or curtsied to Calix and myself, before each hybrid, in turn, took one another's hand. When everyone was connected they bowed their heads and closed their eyes. Soon I heard loud flapping of wings and stomping of feet. Then out of the shadows appeared wolves of different sizes and colors. From the sky, dragons appeared. And like the wolves there were many different sizes, shapes and colors of dragons. "This is amazing." I said staring at all the creatures in awe. "Dragons and Wolves, we ask you to allow our friends to bond with yours." An older female hybrid said.
The wolves and dragons parted and a few of them came to the center of the circle of hybrids. "Seraphina? What is going on?" I asked her in a whisper. "This is a bonding ceremony. To prove you are a Nephalem and not a Daemonium." She said. I nodded, "Calix is human. How will they know?" I asked. "He is married to you. He would still have the ability to bond. Now please pay attention to Eldera." Seraphina said. I turned to see an older woman in front of me. She was a bit shorter than myself with white hair and seemingly sparkling silver eyes. "Please step forward and kneel. Let one of these beautiful creatures come to you." The woman I am assuming is Eldera said in a soft voice. I nodded and kneeled, sitting on my feet. I closed my eyes and bowed my head as well. I sat for what seemed like hours. Then I felt a presence. I looked up and my eyes met with a beautiful wolf and a beautiful dragon. The wolf was white with a blue heart on its forehead. The dragon was black and had big black and blue feathery wings like mine. "Princess. All you have to do is touch either the wolf or the dragon. You will be forever connected with one." Eldera said. I nodded and closed my eyes. Without thinking I reached out to touch the beautiful creatures in front of me. "Euphemia Don't!" I heard someone shout as i touched both creatures.
The second I touched both, a wave of magical energy threw me backward. I hit a wall and fell to the floor. "Euphie!" I heard Calix scream." I looked toward the creatures. They were both glowing and then slowly the wolf was lifted off the ground. The two creatures glowed so brightly they just looked like two balls of light. Shortly thereafter, the two balls of light became one then split again into two. The lights floated to the floor and disappeared to reveal two strange creatures. These creatures were hybrids like myself and the other Nephalems. They were half dragon and half wolf. One of the hybrids was female and the other male. The female hybrid was white and dark blue. She had wings like the dragon did, but there were smaller. On her forehead was half of a yin yang. Her half was black with a light blue heart. The male was black and light blue. He had the same looks as the female with the wings of the dragon and the face and body of a wolf. He had the other half of the yin yang. His was white with a dark blue heart.
They were beautiful beyond belief. I stood and opened my wings, I struggled slightly to fly over to them. Calix followed me. I touched down and kneeled in front of the female. I touched her forehead and she bowed her head. Then I heard a voice. "Hello Princess. My name is Dawn." It said. I jerked my head back shocked and looked at the wolf. "You spoke." I said out loud. The Nephalems exchanged worried glances. "It is called telepathy child. All you have to do is think. I will know." I heard my hybrid say. "You said your name is Dawn? Who is the other wolf?" I asked in my head. "He is my mate, Dusk. Your mate can hear us. Have him touch Dusk." She said. I nodded. "Calix. Kneel in front of Dusk, the black wolf hybrid." He gave me an odd look, but did what I asked. Dusk bowed his head and touched his nose to Calix's hand. "Hello my friend. My name is Dusk. This is Dawn, my mate." I heard Dusk say. Calix heard it as well.
"Can Calix hear me as well?" I asked Dawn. "I can." I heard Calix say in my head. "This is really quite amazing." I said. I stood and Calix did the same. "Telepathic link?" Seraphina asked. "How did you know?" I asked. "All royals of Faerydae have a telepathic bond as well as a physical and emotional one to their friends." Eldera said. I nodded. "Does that mean that Calix and I are royals of Faerydae?" I asked. "Yes. While you are part Faerydae, Calix has sworn his life, soul, and heart to you. Therefore he is considered royal here." Eldera explained. We both nodded. "Follow me." Seraphina said
