Chapter 15

Calix and I followed Seraphina to the edge of the camp. We came to an opening in the stone wall. Seraphina pulled herself up into the opening and disappeared. "You guys coming?" I heard her call back a few seconds later. I shrugged confused and followed her into the opening. We crawled through a narrow tunnel for about twenty feet when Seraphina stopped. "It opens up at the end. Open your wings so you can fly up." She said. We nodded. "I do not have wings." Calix said. "That is alright. Euphemia do you think you carry Calix?" Seraphina asked. "I can try." I said. She nodded and continued crawl.
The deeper we got, the darker it got. Soon I can not see Seraphina. "Seraphina? We can not see." I said. "I know. Use your instincts. Close your eyes and just think. You will know where to go. I reached behind and searched for Calix's hand. When I found it I intertwined my fingers with his and closed my eyes. Suddenly I could see everything. I released calix's hand and crawled forward. "Listen to sound of my movement Calix. Follow me." I said. I turned to see him, my eyes still closed. He nodded. I kept going and finally found Seraphina. She was now standing inside a small room. I entered the room followed by Calix. "Luceat lux in tenebris!" Seraphina said.
The room lit up like a bright sunny day and I could see the whole room. It was very small with six different doors of different colors. The doors were white, purple, pink, yellow, blue, and orange. I looked up to see a large silver heart with blue wings. "What is that?" I asked. "That is the way we are going." Seraphina said. She opened her wings and flapped lightly. She flew right through the heart. I gasped, then giggled and looked at Calix. His eyes widened as I opened my wings and fluttered over to him. "Let's follow." I said as I slipped my arms under his and lifted him. I flew through the heart following Seraphina. We flew on for about half a mile before Seraphina changed direction. She turned left and landed on the edge of a bridge. "Is this the bridge we saw from the water?" I asked. "Yes Milady. This is indeed that bridge. Put your wings away. They are too big to fit in the door. Someone is waiting to meet you." Seraphina stated as her wings retracted and she walked across the bridge.
I did what she said and followed her across the bridge with Calix following behind me. We all walked into the small building, but when I saw the inside, it was an amazing sight. The inside was a lot bigger than the outside and a lot better looking. The outside was old and falling apart whereas the inside was new, beautiful and full of life. There were three other Nephalems. They were all female, but one seemed to be a few years younger than the other two. One of the girls had short black hair and silver eyes. She had a purple helmet like thing on her head. Her outfit consisted of a purple and black jumpsuit. She wore a short black top and part of her stomach could be seen. Her sleeves were attached to a band that went around each of her arms and she wore gloves that wrapped around her wrist and on the middle finger of her hand. She had mechanical like pieces on her knee caps. She looked to be carrying mechanical weapons of some kind in holsters on her hips and she were odd mechanical shoes.
Another girl had longer black hair as well as silver eyes. She also wore a one piece, but hers was strapless, black, white, and blue. She had a mechanical cuff around her neck and she wore long blue, black, and white fingerless gloves that went up passed her elbow. This girl had a cape attached to the waist of her outfit and like the first girl she wore a headpiece though hers was blue, mechanical boots and some kind of mechanic weapons in holsters on her hips. The third girl had long black curled pigtails and silver eyes. She had on a crop top long sleeve jacket type top with a short pair of shorts. Her outfit was green black and white. She had on boots and long white socks. She also wore a headpiece and she had on black gloves that covered all but her pointer finger. The younger girl did not seem to be carrying a weapon. "Sisters? I would like to introduce to you, Princess Euphemia of Alteria, the lost Princess of Faerydae." Seraphina said.
They bowed to me. "I'm Amethyst, this is my twin sister Sapphire and our younger sister Emerald. We're honored to finally have you home." The girl wearing purple said. Sapphire is the girl in blue and Emerald is the girl in green. "I do not mean to be rude, but may I ask who you are, exactly?" I asked slightly confused. "Sapphire and I are Seraphina and Luca's older sisters. Emerald is their younger sister. Our mother lives on Earth and our father died getting our mother, Seraphina, and Luca to safety after the Daemoniums raided our village almost nine years ago. I escaped with Emerald and Sapphire, we changed our names, and over time, we put together a strong rebellion." Amethyst said. "Wow. That is amazing. You girls have done a great job. If you will allow it, my husband and I will help you in your quest to defeat Kieshel." I said. Amethyst and Sapphire nodded. "Of course. We can always use assistance in our quest." Sapphire said.

The twins gathered together all the Nephalems. "We are ready to begin our advance on Lord Kieshel." Amethyst said. "We will be splitting into two groups. Seraphina. Take Luca, Euphemia, Calix and the southern and eastern parts of the camp. Leave through the East Entrance. Everyone else come with me. We leave through the West Entrance" Sapphire said. "Alright then. Let's go. Everyone transform or get changed and please meet at your assigned entrances." Seraphina said. Calix and I followed Luca and Seraphina to their makeshift home. We entered a run down shack.
Inside Luca went into a closet and grabbed out two uniforms. "I think I can make changing a bit faster." I said with a small smile. I snapped my fingers and all four of us were in armoured uniforms, myself still wearing the tiara that appeared when I crossed the portal. "Awesome. I did not know you could do magic. Not many Hybrids can use magic." Luca said. "Does that mean all of you cannot use magic?" I asked. "We know a little bit. I can make shields, Emerald can teleport very short distances, Sapphire has very strong Telekinesis, Amethyst can break any spell by using commands, and Luca can throw small bursts of magic But our magic is not the strongest thing." Seraphina said. "If I'm not mistaken there's only three other half-breeds that know full magic besides yourself." Luca added. "Do you know who?" I asked very interested. "Well as far as we know, one of them is Natair Arias and the other is Lord Kieshel. The third is you and the fourth is still unknown." Seraphina said. "I know Natair Arias." I said, "He is my father. Right now he is at home in Alteria with my mother." "How? Natair is the highest leader of this rebellion. He was captured and taken prisoner by Lord Kieshel almost eleven years ago. This mission is not only to hopefully defeat Kieshel, it is also a rescue mission to find and save Natair and Matthew. Luca said. "So who is the man that is in my home? Who I swore to my mother was the love of her life, my father and the King of Alteria?" I asked starting to panic.
"Love, you have to calm down." Calix said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his chin on my shoulder. I sighed and nodded before looking back at Seraphina. "We would also like to know that." I heard a voice say from behind. I turned to see Sapphire, Amethyst, and Emerald, along with Dawn and Dusk. They all landed softly on the ground in front of us. Dawn and Dusk quickly moved to us. I bowed before them both and they did the same, "I am sending these two with you. Since Calix cannot fly and you have not flown long distances princess, these two can carry you." Amethyst said. I nodded. "If her father is a prisoner than we have to warn Alteria." Calix said. "No. By now your imposter will have figured out that you are here. He will come to you. Your kingdom will not be in danger." Sapphire stated. Calix and I nodded, "Very well. When do we leave?" I asked. "We all leave at night fall. Find a place to sleep in the nearby houses. Most of them should be abandoned." Emerald instructed loudly so our whole group could hear. We said our goodbyes and the sisters flew back to the west side of the mountain.
