Eden Hall had won their hockey game, again, and they were on a roll. That year was especially different because the entire team was together and they were all great. No one was mad at someone, the team was together, they were all happy. They were winning games, Varsity wasn't on their tail as they had graduated and now their younger brother were the newbies on the Varsity team that year.

Exhausted from the game, Leia followed Adam into his and Charlie's shared dorm room. She was supposed to be getting done homework with him because Charlie was out for a few hours, which meant they'd be alone and no one would interrupt them as they worked. Leia grabbed a VHS from her bag and threw her bag on the floor at the end of Charlie's bed as Adam was setting his books on his desk, opening the pages and grabbing his pencils.

She put the VHS inside the player and waited. Sitting back on the end of Charlie's bed, she glanced at the TV and watched. The volume was quite loud, which made it hard for Adam to get her attention as she was focused on the screen.

"Leia Fox comes with a wrap around and what a goal! Assisted by Connie Moreau and Charlie Conway. What a goal, Dave, what a goal." She listened.

A smile appeared on her face. She brought her blonde hair behind her and it fell to the sides of her shoulders behind her. It was straight as usual and she hadn't curled it and she wasn't wearing too much makeup, but her nails were freshly done and she loved them the most.

The tape was last week's game and Leia always liked watching them because she got to understand where her mistakes were and where the team's mistakes were. She always helped Coach Orion and Charlie with strengthening the team by telling them who needs to be where and when.

"Lei." Adam spoke.

"At the beginning of the second period we've got Adam Banks, Luis Mendoza, Greg Goldberg, Dean Portman and Ken Wu. What a combo, but the power line ain't here yet, folks. Eden Hall is winning with a score of three points and Crown Lake with one. It's going to be a great day for the Eden Hall Ducks, isn't it Dave."

"Leia." Adam said again. He got up from his chair and walked over to her. She hadn't moved, she hadn't even blinked when he approached her.

"Come on, Ken." She muttered. "A spin and fail. Gotta take it out more and make if faster." She noted.

"Fox." He called. Nothing. He brought a knee to the edge of the bed and then wrapped his arms around her, pulling her back as he pulled her down onto the bed.

"No, no, no!" She called, missing the tape and was gonna have to rewind it now. "Adam, come on, get off me."

"You've got all night to watch the tapes." He replied.

She lied below him, unable to move as his arms were around her and he lied next to her, his upper body on top of hers. Her legs were cross legged from her original position and his feet hung off the side of the bed. He looked down at her, wanting her to pause the tape and do some homework with him. This was their time until she had to leave near seven to get back to her own dorm and do her things for the night, like shower, do other homework, talk with Julie and Connie, do her hair and other little things as well.

"Adam," She brought her head to the side, looking at the TV with the little view she had of it.

"Yes?"

"Please let me finish this one."

"We're never going to finish science at this point, you know that?"

She laughed, thinking of something. "Because we've got great chemistry."

He looked away, cringing at her words and set his head on the mattress. "That was so cheesy."

"Yeah, bet you liked though." She smiled, sitting up and pressed a kiss to his head. He looked up and met her eyes. She leaned in and kissed him, then brought both her hands to his face, pulling him towards her as she lied back, kissing him.

He smiled into the kiss, causing her to as well. As the tape continued to play, Adam lied next to her and brought a hand to his chest, drawing circles. Adam gazed at her in admiration. He always loved seeing her and he never really showed public affection towards her because neither of them believed it was necessary, but alone, it was their time to be together.

"Do you wonder what next year will bring?" She sighed, looking up to meet his eyes again.

He shook his head. "No, because we live in the now, not then."

"You've always gotta be smart about everything." She kissed his cheek. "Always do." She sat up and shoved him away, looking back at the TV. She missed the nice goal Adam had done. "Hey, Adam."

"Mhm?" He asked and sat up, wrapping his arms around her again and set his chin on her shoulder, looking at the TV as well. She brought a hand to his hand, rubbing his hand.

"Have you ever tried the Triple-Deke?"

"No, it's Charlie's, not mine."

"So, maybe he could teach you."

"Why?"

She shrugged. "He's taught me."

"When?"

"Back at the Games when we often practiced together."

As much as he adored Charlie and their friendship, sometimes he did think that Leia and him were too close as friends. He's heard all of their stories and liked them, but their stories never seem to stop and their friendship continues to grow. Sometimes it feels like those two were dating rather than him and Leia, but Charlie and Leia instead. He was protective of her, for instance when he hates something that she wears, he will tell her how he feels, but she always assures him that he's her one and only.

Leia lied back against Adam, who didn't mind her and watched the tape. Forgetting about their homework, neither of them had accomplished it as he had fallen asleep while she was watching tapes. When Charlie came near five, she was still watching tapes and so he joined her, pushing Adam aside so he could sit next to Leia and watch the tapes better.

The best friends enjoyed each other's company and watched the tapes, laughing together and pointing out the pros and the cons of the games.
