On that particular day, Leia did not want to go to hockey. Her team was taught how to cheat because they couldn't play hockey. Their new coach had been there a few weeks and already, Leia was attached to him. She adored him, there was something about him that was different than the other coaches. Her best friend, Charlie, had warned her about the new coach because he didn't seem any special compared to the others. He was right, the first game he only yelled at them and he gave out limited advice to the team. At the second game, he noticed that none of them could play, so he taught them how to cheat.

With a bond that Leia had, she now felt destroyed. She did not want to play hockey. She was taught how to cheat. She wanted to learn hockey, learn to skate, stop, shoot, and play and not cheat. They already looked bad, but the cheating had topped it off. She lied in her room on the floor, staring at the ceiling as she whistled a tune and thought about nothing. She was utterly bored and her older brother was watching her. She was ten years old and he was thirteen, but he never really watched her. He simply told her what to do and not do.

Currently, he had his own friends over and the living room was fairly loud as they were playing on the NES, Nintendo Entertainment System. In the living room, her older brother, Michael, whom she calls Mike or Mikey, gazed around and locked his eyes on one of his friends who'd been asking him a question. "Isn't your sister supposed to be here?" He asked.

Michael nodded. "Yeah, she's in her room."

"Why isn't she out here playin'? She loves Yoshi."

"That's because she thinks the dinosaur is 'cute'." His other friend spoke up, chuckling. Most kids Michael's age would not like Leia at all because she was younger, annoying and a girl, but these boys didn't. They had learned to grow up with her and that often times she was going to be around. They got used to her and now, they adored her.

"At her hockey game, the coach told them to cheat, yet they still lost. She's upset about that." Michael explained. "You can go find her, but if you go to her room, knock on the door."

Meanwhile, Coach Bombay was on his way over to Leia's house. Charlie had been apologized to and Bombay felt the need to apologize to Leia personally as well and not just hope to see her at the next practice. He was willing to do what it took to help these kids get on their feet and play hockey, but the team would not be complete if they were missing a valuable player, an asset to the team's power.

Josh, the boy who had asked why Leia wasn't around, got up from the couch and wandered off. He tapped Michael's shoulder and said he'd be off to find Leia. He approached her door upstairs and knocked, waiting for answer. Leia turned her head to the right, gazing at her door and sighed. "Hey LJ, it's me, Josh." He spoke. "Can I come in or can you come out?"

A small smile appeared at the corner of her lips. "Come in." She replied.

He opened the door and stopped when he entered, seeing her on the floor and all of her stuff in a mess across the entire room. The dressers were wide open with clothes falling out, the closet was a mess, shoes lied around the floor, clothes littered the floor, the bed was a mess with teddy bears taking more space than Leia would when she slept. The window was wide open on the cold day, the snow was becoming slush and the sun was out the odd time, as the sun was constantly blocked by clouds.

"What're you doing in here? It's a dump in here."

She sat up with wide eyes. "A dump, have you seen the living room?" She asked, jumping up to her feet. She ran over to him and jumped up, he had lowered so she'd be able to get onto his back no problem. He stood up and hoisted her up higher onto his back so she wouldn't fall. The ten year old smiled widely and held on loosely, her arms around his shoulders and rested in front of his neck. "Let's go!" She cheered. "To the living room!"

He smiled and shook his head, chuckling, and left the room. he left the door open and headed downstairs. He found his friends and joined them in the living room, only to notice Michael at the front door. He continued into the living room, all the boys hollering and happy to see the little girl. Josh had dropped her onto the couch where all the boys joined in tickling her as she screamed and laughed, unable to free herself from the mess she was now in.

"Who are you?" Michael asked, furrowing his brows as he looked at the man outside his front door. He stood tall in brown khakis, a knitted sweater with a long, almost trench like coat, that was a soft material. He looked highly rich, but did not dress it. There was a large van sitting outside at the end of the road and Michael wanted to close the door.

"I'm Gordon Bombay, or Coach Bombay to Leia. I'm here to speak with her." He replied.

"Why? So you can make them cheat again? I don't think so, Butch." Michael shook his head.

The boys and Leia had stopped, she inhaled deeply as she breathing had picked up from all the laughing and excitement. She was too small to see over the couch full of boys and instead jumped onto Josh's back again, holding on to his shoulders as she leaned over the edge, gazing to Mikey and the door.

"I'd like to apologize to her about what happened at the last game in hopes she'd like come back."

He scoffed and opened the door wider, allowing him to step in. He nodded as a thanks and Michael noticed his friends and sister move quickly away from the couch, ducking their heads from the top of the couch. "She's all yours, but don't be surprised if she chooses not to come back." He warned. "You fucked up...LJ!" He called, cupping his hands over his mouth. "You got a visitor."

She got up and walked around the couch, standing at the top of the stairs. The front door was simply a small surface area where a few people could stand. There were stairs leading up and a few leading down. The house was a lot newer than the others because the Fox family had wealth. Standing at the bottom of the stairs by the closet, Coach Bombay awaited for the young blonde to join him. Her blond brother walking upstairs.

"Coach Bombay." She breathed, a little bit of excitement filled her body, but she still remembered the way he treated her and the team.

That was the first time Leia Fox had actually meant the words. Those two words would forever mean something to her. He was a man, who's father died when he was young, and his passion was to play hockey. He may not be able to play as of that day, but he could coach a Peewee league team and have fun while doing so.
