I decided that the best course of action would be to not freak out. If I just let it go, I could deal with it later. A second later, Susie emerged from the closet and brandished a brand new box of chalk. She smiled and we started back to class.
"Took you long enough," Miss Alphys grumbled. We hurried to our seats. I sat down behind Susie and avoided Noelle's gaze, but I could still feel her glare. Something told me that Noelle didn't like me very much.
"Listen up shits, we're doing group projects. I will be picking partners." Miss Alphys began down the list. "Temmie and the egg, Monster Kid and Snowy, Jockington and Catti, Noelle and Birdley-"
"Excuse me, what!? I'm supposed to be partners with Susie, hello?" Barely just stared forward in shock with this stupid from on his face.
"Detention. As I was saying, New Kid and Dino bitch, you two are partners. Now, I'm going to be very clear about this. You are not allowed to trade partners. You won't get everything exactly how you want it out in the real world, so think of it as training. Now for this project, you will..." I pulled a pencil out and started taking notes.
