It started as a normal day. Fine morning. Nothing unusual.
Fran is waiting for a bus when a car horn surprises her from behind.
"Fuck, Joe! You scared me!"
"Scaredy cat! Get in!"
Joe is her childhood friend. He just got his driving license and a brand new car with it. He lives in the same neighborhood. They even went to the same kindergarten together.

Fran asks, "You look weird. Anything wrong?"
"I made up my mind, Fran. I'm going to tell her I'm in love with her."
Fran smiles widely.
She says, "Good luck. Someone I know?"
"You could say that..."
He is staring her with a strange gaze. Things suddenly feels awkward for them. Fran quickly turns on the radio.
She says, "Hey! This is my favorite song!"
She begins to sing along with the singer. Joe chuckles and shakes his head. He starts the short drive to school.
Fran takes a glance to him.
Joe is their school's quarterback. A popular guy at school. Most girls have a crush on him. She bets his dream girl would be thrilled when he confesses his love today.
The car is being parked in school parking lot. Fran got out of the car first.
She says, "Well, see you later, Joe."
"You know it."
Joe stares to her back when she's walking toward the school building. Her ponytail is swinging as usual.
He squints his eyes when a guy greets her cheerfully. Fran stops to chat with him.

Joe hits the steering wheel in his rage. He hates to feel jealous all the time.
He whispers, "Fran, Fran, Fran, when would you realize it? You're mine from the start..."
A sexy cheerleader knocks on his car's window.
She asks, "Aren't you going to come out, Joe?"
He only flashes her his signature smile. The girl looks swoon, swelling with pride because he smiles to her.
Joe gets out of his car. The girl hooks her arm to his. Showing the others they would be a nice couple in this school. The power couple.
He lets her do this all the times. She's one sexy girl. Although his heart yearns for another girl. The one who never thinks him in the same light.
