"You ready?"I asked looking down at Shylin. She smiled looking up at me.

"Yeah."she exhaled putting her hand in mine. After a long wait she is finally stable enough to leave this place. Last week was new year's. This is a whole new year with new things to look forward to.

"You two already set?" Martha asked from behind us. We turned around both of us attacking her with hugs. She has been more than a doctor in charge of us.

"I'll miss you nana." Shylin said getting emotional after the hug.

"Be good sweety. Don do none of that harmful stuff alright?"the older woman said pulling the younger's cheeks.

"Yes nana. I promise." Shylin agreed hugging her again.

"And you son....you have to retrace your steps to make everything right. Its the only way to find peace and give closure."she said patting my back. In short find Jahseh and try to fix things.

"I will Martha. Its the least I could do."I hugged her one last time before we turned towards the gate.

"Stokeley?"I turned around. "All the best." Martha waved. I nodded walking out the gates at last. Feels like I been gone forever but its only been eleven months. All close to an year.

"Stokeley? Your first name is Stokeley?" Shylin snickered. I turned to her. She was struggling not to laugh but she couldn't hold it. "The fuck is a Stokeley? Sounds like bacteria."she was full wheezing slapping her knee in her bent position. "It's even devastating to think about it bruh."she was now rolling on the ground. I rolled my eyes looking out for my driver. He should be here by-my thoughts got interrupted when the SUV pulled up in front of us.

"That's enough. Come on."I picked her up putting her into the car while getting onside.

"Sir?"my driver looked back with raised eyebrows.

"Right on time Joe."I said sliding my seatbelt. I helped Shylin do the same.

"You look.......different sir." Joe said watching me. I was still in my guise but thst would change once I got home.

"I feel different too Joe."I said looking down at myself.

"So you one rich mf..."Shylin said with a smug look on her face.

"May be."I smirked facing her. Her brows furrowed for a second then she looked out the window. My focus was on Jahseh. My heart pounded in anticipation at the thought of seeing him again. I know he'll be mad that I left jus like that but I had to. I was hurting him badly by my behaviour back then. Looking back Shylin she was already asleep.

The drive was way shorter than I expected. Or may be it's because of how nervous I am. I told Joe to carry Shylin in and put her in the guest room on the ground floor. Getting out the car I found myself looking at my house. A lot had changed since I left. If anything it looked very beautiful and well kept.

I slowly opened the door getting inside. Everything seemed new. The furniture was also new and the in bar was gone.

"Hey! Who are you and what are you doing in here?"some woman asked getting my attention.

"I should be the one asking you that. This is my house after all."I said giving her straight look. She looked at me up and down.

"Nigga get out this house 'for I call the police on you. Matter of fact lemme get security."she smacked her lips looking at me in disgust. Who the fuck is this?

"Bitch you got some nerve kicking me outta my house. Call them security see what they gon' do like I don pay their salary."I huffed going upstairs. Again everything in here was different. I went straight to the shower.
