Chapter 6

-Myles-

It was about 5 o' clock. I decided to get ready. I took a quick shower and when i got out i did my hair. I picked out a black and red flannel and a white t-shirt to wear underneath, also blue jeans and my black and white vans.

"Hey where are you going tonight?" Cam asked looking through my door and smirking at me.

"Im hanging out with Maddie.." I smiled fixing my outfit a little.

"aye man have fun!" he said going downstairs.

I looked at the clock and it said 5:50. It was really nice outside so I decided we would walk, plus it wasn't that far.

I walked over to Maddie's house and knocked on her door. When she opened the door i was amazed by what she was wearing. She had on a small black dress, a cardigan, and red flats. Her hair was nicely curled and pulled back on one side.

"Wow" I said.

"Your drooling meelz" she smiled.

"Lets start walking, shall we?" I said leading the way.

She and I were walking out of the neighborhood in complete silence. I didn't mind though, being with her was already amazing. I broke the silence though.

"How was everything while i was gone?" I smiled.

"Besides the fact you left me?," i looked down embarrassed, "well besides that everything was good. How was the tour?"

"That's good.. and It was pretty amazing, i love performing so much" I said putting my arm around her shoulder.

As we got to the small, but nice, restaurant we walked up and Maddie gasped realizing it was the restaurant where i asked her out.

"This is where we started, so i thought we can start building our friendship again from here." I smiled and lead her inside.

After dinner and a nice dessert we decided to walk to the beach which was about five minutes away.

"Myles?," she asked me, " why did you leave?"

"The tour, you kno-" she interrupted me.

"yeah but why did you break up with me, then leave without telling me? I just want to know what you are hiding from me, i asked Jake but he wouldn't budge..so please just tell me already.."

"You're going to hate me.." I said.

"What did you do"

"I.. Uhmmm, Did things with this one girl.. then had feelings for her for a while, but that stopped. Im so sorry..the last few days before i left, i couldn't look at you in the face and be real with you, i knew it would hurt so much. im really sorry maddie.."

She looked shocked.. She got up, put something in my hand and walked away.. I looked in my hand at it was the necklace i gave her on our 3 year anniversary.
