Chapter 15

"So what's up?" Myles said sitting at his desk chair.

"What's up?," I rose my voice,"what do you think is up?"

"I'm sorry I cheated on you, It didn't mean anything." His face became red of embarrassment.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?"

"I don't know maybe." He stood up and held my hands,"I really am sorry."

"Myles no." I pulled away.

"You talk to me then, tell me what's on your mind. Every little detail and I promise you I will try to make it okay again." He sat down in the bed and sat me down next to him but I stood right back up.

" You know what, I'm fine. I'm over it. It happened and I can't be mad at you my whole life, so i'm just done Myles." I sat in my desk chair and avoided making eye contact with him.

"What does this mean for us?" Myles blurted out.

"There is no us. We can all still hangout  together with everyone else, never alone though. Our relationship, friendship, whatever it is. Won't work anymore." I started to storm out but Myles pulled me back into the room.

"I'm sorry Maddie, you know you're my everything. It really doesn't need to be like this.." He pouted.

"But it really does, I can't be alone with you without falling for you again. I can't just be friends with you without feeling anything. I deserve better than some one who cheats on me, breaks up with me, then leaves me for a couple months. I deserve better. It took me a while, but I learned to live without you and I still can. I'm going home now. Goodbye Myles."  I walked out of the room and down the stairs.

"Hey madds, wanna have some dinner
with us? Theres plenty of food." Cam asked and I heard foot steps coming down the stairs. When I looked up I saw Myles.

"Uhm, No thanks I should get going." I responded.

"Cmon!" Jake said holding me back.

"Uh Okay fine." I grabbed a plate and put some food on it. My phone vibrated while sitting on the couch next to Kalin.

Jake- What happened?

Maddie- Not that great of things, But don't worry about it. Im going to go home.

Jake-I'll walk you.

"Okay guys i really have to go now, see yall later." I waved goodbye and Jake walked me next door.

"So what happened?" Jake asked.

"I told him I couldn't be friends with him anymore, But that its fine if we are all together as a group. I think that's whats best for me." I grinned.

"I'm glad you're doing whats best for you. Hangout tomorrow? Just us?" Jake offered.

"Of course. I'll see you tomorrow." He kissed my cheek and I went inside.

Right before I went to sleep my phone vibrated.

Myles: Goodnight Madds.

Maddie: You have to stop Myles. I need to move on.

Myles: I will win you back maddie.

I screenshotted The messages and sent it to jake.

Maddie: Jake tell your brother to leave me alone.

Jake: Will do. Go to sleep.

I put my phone down and slept instantly.
