-night time-
"What I did happened a year ago. I know it was wrong but I was vulnerable, under the influence a little and we were in a fight. I really love Maddie, she's so different than every other girl out there. I'm so stupid!" I said talking to myself, hitting the steering wheel. At this point I didn't want to go home. I just kept driving and driving and driving until i hit a dead end, but I knew where I was. This is my favorite place out here. I parked my car on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the city. I laid down on the hood and just stared at the sky and city back and forth. About an hour and a half later I see headlights gleam in the trees. I ignored it and closed my eyes.
"I knew I'd find you out here" I hear Kalins voice.
Keeping my eyes closed, I smiled, "You know me to well Kalin."
"What's going on bruh?" Kalin asked me.
"She remembers everything and probably hates my guts now. All I thought to do was come here. My peaceful spot.. I'm just so mad at myself. I'm just so stupid." I took a few breaths trying not to get to much into my feelings.
"Just remember man, If it's meant to be it will be. If it's not, then you just have to accept that fact. Keep tryin man you never know what could happen"
"Thanks kalin."
"Now lets go back to the house, it's a little cold outside" He chuckled and we both drove home.
When I got home I noticed it was just Kalin, Cam, and I.. I looked at the clock and it was 11:30. I texted Jake.
M- Where you at?
J- Out with Maddie, I picked her up from the hospital.
M- Alright, Be safe out there.
J- Will do.
Then I texted Maddie.
MP- Goodnight. I hope one day you will know I really am in love with you and I'm just a stupid guy. Sleep well.
I put my phone on the charger and slowly fell asleep.
