Chapter 7

-Maddie-

I walked away after giving Myles the necklace he got me for our three year anniversary three weeks before he left for the tour. I was honestly so hurt. I thought he loved me enough to be with only me. But I guess I wasn't good enough for him. Walking a little faster, I started crying, I called Jake.

J: Maddie? Aren't you with Myles right now?

M: Hi Jake, Not anymore

J: Why are you crying, whats wrong?

M: Can you come pick me up at the beach, ill be in the parking lot.

J: Of course ill be there as soon as possible.

M: Thank you.

When i got to the parking lot I sat on a bench and looked through my phone waiting for Jake. Having 7 missed calls from Myles, I read through all of the texts he sent me.

"I'm so sorry madds"

"I didn't mean to hurt you"

"I don't know why I did it"

"you were the only girl I ever loved"

"I hope you can forgive me."

"I still love you so much"

I cried more reading all the texts. I turned my head towards the car lights coming my way and noticed it was Jakes car. I stood up and watched Jake roll up in front of me. I opened the door and got in.

"Thank you for picking me up.. Do you think I can sleep over tonight? I really don't want to be alone & There is no one ever home anymore.." I said resting my head on the window.

"Of course," He said handing me a tissue, "So what happened tonight?"

"He told me what he did..," I swallowed, "You know before he left.."

"Oh yeah, Madds I'm sorry. I couldn't tell you about that, It wasn't my place to say..I told him it would hurt you, he didn't listen. Im so sorry."

"It's okay, I totally understand." I said.

I looked at Jake and caught him staring at me. I sadly smiled at him and looked ahead seeing Jake run a red light.

"JAKE" I panicked looking to my right and seeing a huge tow truck coming towards me.

Then everything turned black.
