Zombie Survival Group- Confused: Part 15

~Adeline's P.O.V~ 

I was just so confused at that point. Why would the zombies leave? I mean for some point we were quiet, but then we started yelling again so it would've attracted them again. "I don't feel like it's safe. I mean this isn't right. They would've stayed or at least came back. This is also giving me a really bad feeling." I pointed out. "Nah, I mean zombies are attracted to loud sounds. They could've heard some gunshots in the forest behind them." Poppy stated. I sighed and shook my head. "I am not leaving this boat until I know it is safe out there!" I stated. Serenity sighed and started packing up for all three of us and fed all three dogs. "Well it is pretty misty out there, what if they are just passed out on a tree? It does seem pretty risky." Serenity commented. "Well we need to take that chance. Right now is our only passing chance to get off this lake island." Poppy said. We waited for a couple of minutes for an agreement, and agreed to leave. I limped a lot, which meant I was a danger to the group. If I stumbled behind, they would have to stop and help me. I had to keep my pace and ignore the surging pain. "Now where are we headed?" I asked. "Wherever we can. We need to get you some medicine. It's just so crazy that you don't have the exact medicine you need in that huge stash of yours." Poppy complained. "I used it all for one of my friends. I just didn't notice I ran out. When I left their group I forgot to take their stash of zombie medicine." I said sadly. "It's going to be one long night. Better start staying up for a few nights." Serenity pointed out. I mumbled and sighed. "I was expecting that. Well, we have some snacks and drinks for a few nights. I'm pretty sure we'll make it until we find somewhere to settle." I said. Poppy and Serenity agreed and we started our long night search.
