Percy was more than a little confused. There was obviously an emergency of some sort. People were rushing in every direction, completely ignoring Percy. Well, most people were ignoring Percy.

"Hey, kid. You need to come with us." One boy jogged over to Percy and grabbed his arm, and not too gently either. A girl was following closely behind him.

"Sci, let Percy go. Adam only said to make sure he's secure, he never said to break his arm."

The boy, Sci, grunted angrily but let go of the arm. "I still think this is dumb. The Damnati obviously have him. It's the only logical explanation, and if they have him you're never getting him back."

"Damnati?" Percy asked, confused. "Why are damned people running on the loose?"

"They're not actually people," the girl responds gently. She was trying to move Percy along as fast as possible, and if that meant answering dumb questions then so be it.

"So are they more werewolves like you guys?"

Sci snorted at this, but the girl replied. "They're vampires. We've had a rivalry for longer than anyone can remember, and it always turns violent when a wolf and vampire cross paths. We tend to call them the Damnati, or the Damned, because that's just what those twisted creatures are."

Percy just nodded his head and kept walking , but he was thinking. "So if they have my brother, then-"

"Then that really sucks crap," Sci snapped. "Get your ass moving. We're almost at the Main House."

And they were, as they rounded some last trees they could see the front door. Unfortunately, standing at the door was an angry looking Adam.

"Alina. Scitus. Percy." He said, nodding to each of them in turn. "You have someone waiting for your presence inside."

Alina and Sci were very surprised at this from Adam. Usually, he was the one giving out orders, not acting as the doorman. Whoever was there to see them must be important. Upon entering the meeting room of the Main House, they gasped as they saw a large man with wings standing facing a painting of the founder of the Huntsmen on the wall. As the man turned around, they could see that the man was none other than Thanatos himself.

"Percy. So you are the One chosen by the Oracle of Delphi." Thanatos's voice was surprisingly soft for a man as large and foreboding as he was.

"What?" Percy asked. He had no idea who this man was or what he was taking about. "How am I a Chosen One?"

As if sensing his next questions, Thanatos told the small boy. "I am Thanatos, god of Death, keeper of the Doors of Death, and Warrior of Hades. The Oracle has foretold of your role in an upcoming prophecy, and so you must be prepared for your role. I have requested that you be trained here as you will be a valuable wolf in the upcoming war as well as prepared to fight against the evil that will come. Also, the Oracle said you wouldn't be needed for a few thousand years, so this seemed an even more logical place to train you. Adam was especially happy for the warrior of the Great Prophesy to be in his ranks. But enough with a speech that you don't even understand the half of, young Percy. You must be ready for the storm that's coming. I'll check up on you later. " And with that, Thanatos backed up and disappeared into the shadows in the corner.

"Damn." Sci broke the awkward silence that followed. "We got ourselves the prophesy boy. Let's go tell Adam about this."

I realize that Percy doesn't talk like a normal 2-3 year old, but I really hate writing in that sort of jumbled English as much as you hate reading it. Sorry if I'm rushing the plot a bit, I'm trying to set up the main story. As always, thanks for reading!
